One question about Interest Stacks (anime) and spoilers

I have a question regarding anime Interest Stacks and spoilers. Is mentioning the names of arcs from the manga that got adapted in the anime adaptation an information "spoilerish" enough to spoiler tag an interest stack?

I ask, because one of stacks I created have an information about the names of adapted arcs and chapters adapted per season. I spoiler tagged it, but I've been wondering - whether this information really counts as something spoiling the plot? Anime title alone might have the name of the adapted story arc in it, and front page can also reveal some details regarding characters. Y'know, by simply mentioning them in the section dedicated to the cast.

As far as I know the spoiler toggle must only be used if the sheer presence of an entry combined with the title and description of the stack would already be a spoiler. I think you can just spoiler tag the entry descriptions that you consider as a spoiler and it should be good.

But I'm no expert, maybe @firefractal can enlighten us here.

It largely depends on whether the names of the arcs themselves are spoilers for major events, such as main/supporting character deaths, plot twists, unexpected romantic developments, or the like. Additionally, as Ateks mentioned, it also depends on the context of the stack's name and description. For example, a stack titled "Anime where a main character dies (non-isekai)" would certainly require a spoiler tag.

I'm assuming you're referring to your Kimetsu no Yaiba stack, correct? The arc titles and the other parts of your descriptions don't seem to spoil any particular event, so you wouldn't need to enable the spoiler toggle for this stack.

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarification. Over the years I've learned it's better to ask what does "spoiler" mean on a particular website than to just go with this term's most common definition known from the dictionary, haha.

I couldn't decide whether names of story arcs appearing in the manga were hmm... "revealing information" enough to call them as spoilers. Same went with those arcs that have been implemented directly into the anime adaptation's title, i.e. in this show's case. Even without any additional description, having similar entries mentioned on the stack's list was a must, and their titles, like I mentioned earlier, had the adapted arc's name in them (with "one arc per entry" pattern for sequel series).

Yes, I created this thread with having my Kimetsu no Yaiba interest stack in mind. Thanks for looking at it. :) Good to hear it doesn't have to be spoiler tagged or have its contents put under the spoiler tag. I will make it non-spoiler in a few seconds.

Thank you a lot for your responses and help, @ateks, @firefractal.

Still waiting for the BBCode on stacks to be implemented.
The following features are planned and will be added soon:
🔜 BBCode/Markup on descriptions

(From: [Update May 24] Interest Stacks: New feature for custom theme lists and challenges)

With BBCode, you can easily use the spoiler tag
[spoiler][/spoiler]
for certain words or sentences instead of enabling the spoiler button for the entire stack.

Here's another suggestion: Stacks: spoiler for individual entries
