| I'm glad I just started watching Bakemonogatari today. That way, I can get to the last episode as soon as I catch up. Still sucks for those waiting half a year, but I guess I, as well as other fellow noobs, didn't get the short end of the stick. |

| Okay, I'm pissed. I really am. I've no problems with waiting. It wouldn't be that of a problem. Just tell me a date and everything's alright. But you need to stick to that date! It's embarrassing, really... SHAFT doing Loli Bund was a failure in some ways, too.. The "real" Ending finally came after 8 episodes, just to be forgotten the next episode... It's a shame. I mean, yes, they did a damn good job with Bakemonogatari, especially the BDs, but HELL, just do this shit and everybody will be delighted! At least I haven't started the final Arc, so I'm not experiencing that a cliffhanger.. but still. |

| I gotta say I'm terrified this is beginning to become a purposeful trend, not to sound over the top ('conspiracies for the win' right?) but I feel like this all started with the school days/higurashi episodes being taken off the air (maybe earlier but I don't know) once the anime got taken down popularity soared and the whole 'nice boat' crap only helped the show's popularity. What the industries took this as is 'hey maybe our audience LIKES being dissapointed, hell it might help sales!' So now we have crap like 'endless eight' and the never ending postponement of series finales with the intention of raising DVD sales, of course I'm just terrified that it's gonna work and then every other series is gonna be the same episode twelve times or last episodes being completely written out... |

It's pretty obvious SHAFT is not trying to raise their selling, it's just situation made them postpone everything. Did they postpone the release of their first BD volume? No. However, it sold best among all. It is simply ridiculous relating delaying issue to financial success. |
| Since this is so heavily delayed, they must surely be animating constant movement, not one nanosecond with the same frame/picture, no flashbacks (or in that case, epic remakes) and the plot must be over complicated, worthy of a hundred rewatches. Something along those lines. What else might they be waiting so long for? I'm looking forward to this, but I kinda expect a letdown. |
