GReeeN (Ooyukiumi no Kaina) will perform the ending theme "Wasurenagusa," which is performed in the promotional video below. Yuuzou Satou (One Outs) helms the anime at Madhouse. Ryuunosuke Kingetsu (Hakozume: Kouban Joshi no Gyakushuu) is penning the script and handling the series composition. Kei Tsuchiya (Laidbackers) is the character designer and chief animation director. Takashi Oomama (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) and Natsumi Tabuchi (5-toubun no Hanayome) are composing the music. The anime adapts the sci-fi psychological manga which serialized in Weekly Shounen Champion from November 2015 to August 2017 and compiled into eight volumes. The five-volume AI no Idenshi: Red Queen sequel manga ran in Bessatsu Shounen Champion from October 2017 to June 2019.
