Welp, missing the Royal Academy's entrance exam...isn't all that difficult, if you're Cain.
Cain on his own without Princess Telestia or Silk, and while the written exam is no biggie for Cain, it's the magic exam that while showcases the typical 12-year-old's magic, Cain's is out of this world in comparison. The swordsmanship exam, and Cain faces off with Claude for a mock battle, though it put them on the spot.
When it came time for the results, Cain was summoned by the king for questioning, since he used emperor-level magic in an exam where he took an exam meant for the commoners instead of one for the nobles. This came so from the reason that Cain was perfect from Eric knowing of the matter and just letting the matter loose. Either way, Cain's a top-scorer student, and a valedictorian at that to give a speech. to everyone present. With the school uniform, Cain looks more stunning, and so are Silk and Teles...plus the king in question, and he got embarrassed by him, hard. Regardless, whatever areas of studies they want to engage in, it's all for Cain's benefit, and protecting Parma from being bullied and ostracized...which is a +1 on the potential harem. And while getting punished by the girls, Cain is led to an inner voice, which he is transported towards the trainer that will guide him for the rest of his school life: Kazuya Shiina.
The typical school life, in preparation for the bigger things to come.

He actually only used beginner magic lol. He asked the king and other two if he could use his emperor level and they said he'll no haha.
The comedy of Cain being OP is getting redundant... but this series is still enjoyable nonetheless.
My tip for Cain-kun:
Go with the big sis route...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
This anime is so shit, yet - I can't stop watching it. The MC is so unlikeable, there's no character development, no pacing. I'd be embarrassed if I was part of the team that made this.
The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
The part where the king came in and started slapping Cain on the back while subtly warning him was hilarious. I totally related to a parent subtly warning you, I'm gonna kick your ass if you act out, mm kay? *smile* ROFL
I'm not really a fan of all this "the MC is way OP and almost nothing can even possibly hurt him" type anime. It's not so bad when they build up from nothing and you can appreciate how he became OP, but when the "Gods" just decide to make you OP from the start, it's kinda boring. The only amusement value comes from watching him try to pull his punches only to wind up blasting a hole in the wall anyway and making the school come after him with the repair bill.
They keep hinting at how there's some major evil that's about to be unsealed and how Cain is gonna need every ounce of that power they gave him in order to save the world, but right now we're just watching a 12 year old with God power making a bunch of other 12 year olds look like 12 year olds... oh and every girl in the entire world is apparently in love with him too of course.
We're on Episode 8 and the only real conflict we've seen so far is a bunch of snotty brat children of nobles looking down on peasants and wanting to be terrible people for no reason vs Cain who just wants everyone to get along. Only 4 more episodes left in this season and I am not sure how they're gonna make it interesting. Oh, and having that weird guy basically summon Cain from the Library to wherever... I'm guessing somehow that's the 1st King (who was also a Japanese Isekai dude) who is gonna have to talk to Cain about what's coming up. I doubt they'll be able to advance the plot enough to do anything but say "come back for season 2!" though.
it is never really a good idea to give students carte blanche when using their full power during an entrance exam lol but watching cain face off against claude was fun to watch
So we're entering a school arc now huh?
As expected, our MC makes a blunder of entering a different venue for his tests and shocks both staff and applicants with his OPness, well it doesn't matter where he took the test really- he'll be OP regardless.
And now he gets in the same class with his two 1st fiances, the 1st princess and duchess of the realm, and the 3 of them sets their sights to the future choosing courses for their studies.
And along the way, Cain reunites with an acquaintance and puts the old nuisances of bully nobles to their places.
Things gets interesting as he meets potentially a descendant of another japanese isekai-ist in the academy (or this might be the first king himself).
Judging from the opening sequence, the mystery guy might train Cain to prepare him for the upcoming bad dude 🐼
I like all the tropes with the "doing a magic test to enter the academy, but being so OP that you destroy the testing area" stuff, so enjoyed the first half (was just something fun, easy and low-stakes to watch).
I still do not like the romance stuff between the children 🙃 but at least it's nothing explicit or anything though.
Its kind of funny how i was borderline on the edge of dropping this back in ep 3, but now I'm surprisingly quite enjoying it. Not saying its perfect or anything.
maybe its just me but...is this the first time we se cain teleporting? or maybe it's just been awhile since he last used it and i dont remember anymore
its a bit lat to say this but, its kind of weird that th age of joining as an adventurer is like 12, while now cain is taking his entrance exam
isnt it usually the other way around?
(also i swear the girls, though mostly silk and teles, have had more screentime in the op/ed than in the actual anime so far. well there's still more eps to go. also rip reine)
after the shenanigans last ep a lot of people have been speculating about the scenes in the op, are we really gonna get more timeskips? we already had a crazy number of timeskips so far, 3>5>8>10>12?
not sur if the guild master shows up in the op but. the 3 main girls aside, we have the 4 adventurers, although so far all 4 have been pretty hands off. presumably either next ep or so somthing will happen to cause all 4 of them to show up together
its been prtty heavily hinted(?) that claude at the vry least has something to do with probably milly
it would be pretty funny if cain faileede his exam, but its op iskeai protagonist sothey cant possibly have any problems now can they. idk
since cain is op, like. telepathy is something pretty useful that seems to be pretty uncommon, but maybe its too clos to mind control/mind reading so its kind of dubious
probably its been brought up in other isekai, but since "children" nowadays are pretty educated, i suppose thats a thing.
would be funny to see the reverse though, iamgine being isekaied into the future and not having enough
it is kind of funny, because in most other anime, the academy test is way earlier, while here its happening in ep 8 of all things. kind of funny sicne he's already met the king and all that by this point
is cain eveen TRYING to hold back? wat
apparently he like grossly underestimated how powerful he is that apparently h just blasted straight through the wall
claude showing up for the exam eh, oh well i can tell wher this is going
idk if i can even blame claude, though both claude and cain clearly got carried away
funny that the eyeecatch is reine. if i recall correctly she's 3 years older than cain? so she would be 15 now, though functionally she still looks more or lss the same th last time we saw her
ah i see, the twist is that cain accidentally wnt to the commoner's exam, not th nobles. or something
actually im not sure, but/ well the king is one thing, but cain's family/father definitely isnt showing up as much now. though cain is 12 now and doing other stuff. (of course as i say that they show up)
its still really strange how only silk shows up and not teles. also rip screentime. (of course teles shows up immediately as i say this)
we didnt really get to see what happened between the timskip, but th eimplication is that cain basically just lives alone in his own mansion (most of the time) with his maid army kek. kinda bizarre really. since h's not really alone but he also kinda is?
i have to say though cain looks soo weird in academy uniform after all these eps.
also does he look taller? glub.
also isnt it strange to ask a 12 year old to do a speech? evn if he is a noble
i do wonder how things are gonna go, also tifana is definitely eithergonna show up outside or just straight up crash the academy. if anything im surprised she hasnt already
so far we havent actually seeen silk and teles using magic. though i guess they're gonna be more of the brains, while cain and tifana and th 4 advnturers should be more than enough action
oh hey look parma finally shows up after like...the last time we saw her was what, ep 4?
it is kind of funny how silk and teles kinda monopolize cain, but in a different way from tifana.
Anyway to nobody's surprise (haha), they drop a cliffhanger on us. its a bit confusing right now
(i never really understood the coffee thing but whatever)
ok so...there's either two/thre explanations. working on the presumption its the first king dude
1: the king never died, and h just escaped
2: some time related shenanigans
3: its like a memory of the king that he left behind, like a magic copy of himself
could be any of these really, th ending is too abrupt. the part where he knows cain's previous name is xtremly screwy, either he has some kind of omniscience/clairvoyance ability, or there's some time shenanigans going on, or perhaps he himself was the one who actually knew cain before the reincarnation.
I do wonder if parma is going to be a recurring character from now on (rip reine, but maaaybe? There's only so many eps left though)
Considering how the anime keeps jumping around I'm not sure if they'd actually stay at the academy for long
I like all anime I watched many Isekai anime. I saw every time differently. and I like this too. to some degree anyway. but the anime is getting more and more cringey for it's own good.
I wonder what explanation they will give for the first emperor being around still. Is he immortal? Did he put himself in suspended animation? Did he use magic to keep himself in a place time travels different? Did he time travel? Is he actually dead and this is just some magical message?
Ok so Cain's trainer is the first emperor, hopefully there will be an information dump in the next episode when Cain's training takes off such as who this new bad guy is (I think Aaron is his name). I'm assuming that Cain's trainer is more powerful than Cain so it should be crazy what they will do during training (I'm imagining blowing up giant boulders and creating craters).
I wonder what Tele and Silk spoke to Parma about? Maybe joining the harem?
I'm starting to think Cain might be stupid. He saw the others. Why'd he use his full strength even in beginner's magic? Too bad Claude is married. He could get rid of that battle crazy elf.
Dude... why are you making poor Silvia so worried right at the beginning...
Why don't you just tell her you could teleport... I mean... everyone in the family knows you have godly powers, just tell them about your other daily-life abilities.
Silvia is so innocently cute and caring, best maid ever.
.
LOL... Cain tried to "tone down" his abilities... but it still proved to be TOO Powerful.
.
Huh... so it's a problem if a commoner gets better score than a noble eh?... sigh... this nobility gets extra benefit shit again... where I thought this Isekai would be more balanced since the King seems like a cool dude, but I guess they still prioritize noble status over commoners.
If it wasn't Cain, I bet they would probably end up removing the commoner from the list and then "silence" them to keep the noble status.
.
And yes... we got the "other Japanese" introduced.
TBH tho... I saw the spoiler some ppls posted a while ago...
that he's Cain's parents Friend, but didn't Cain's parent came here 300+ years ago? so this guy didn't age for 300+ years...

Nothing Written Here But Us Anime Bunnies *boing boing boing*
I'm not really surprised that when the teacher said "Use the strongest spell, there is a barrier that protects everything" and the Cain still used one of the weakest spells in his repertoire, he ended up destroying half of the training ground of all. shapes. I was looking forward to seeing who appears at the end of the cap so I'll look forward to the next cap the other week.
PS: Poor Cain, he only needs Tifaana to arrive to guard him from his companions out of jealousy (Or end up negotiating a fourth fiancée, who knows) xd
The King unpromptly coming to the entrance ceremony and "subtly" elbowing and genially smacking the "irregular" on the stage actually made me snicker like Duke Eric and the Prime Minister in the background. Man, I'm getting old too!
The dude didn't introduce himself as Yuuya Terra Hirasawa Esfort yet...rude. LOL
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,
Coz he's right here! ...and he's fresh out of mercy.
The visual comedy of the animation in this anime is great! The king just keeps slapping Cain on the back, the bully nobles slinking away, so much visual comedy.
I didn't appreciate Silk making Cain sit that way though, so demeaning for no good reason. I don't find that funny, like how Claude's wife kept smacking Claude on the head with her staff for no reason a few episodes back. Although I did like how Claude had no problems keeping up the sword duel with Cain, so it wasn't the OP MC effortlessly beating everybody. I also felt bad for the commoner kids getting indirectly humiliated by Cain's show of magic, but this is a comedy so I shouldn't take it so seriously, LOL. Luckily there was no fallout from the commoners hating Cain for being so good, nor nobles sucking up to Cain for political power. It's just all treated like a joke.
