| It's more an effect of the harem genre where you have a dull self insert ML and a bunch of colorfully generic girls who fall down in a line for the bland MC and yet he can't make a single move so he ends up with nobody and most of the "comedy" comes from the girls stopping other girls from making their moves and slapping the MC when a girl does make a move. It's not just this anime, it's most cheaply written harem animes that follow this exact formula that created an understandable stigma around the genre itself. |

That's the point of comedy I understand that you feel differently about the issue, but I want to emphasize that opinions and perspectives can vary greatly when it comes to TV shows and genres. While you may not see the negative feedback as significant or important, it's essential to acknowledge that different people have different tastes and preferences. When it comes to discussing opinions about TV shows or any form of entertainment, one's ethnicity or cultural background should not be a determining factor. Regardless of where you come from, everyone has the right to express their thoughts and feelings about the media they consume. It's essential to recognize that diversity in thought and opinion is not solely limited to cultural or ethnic differences. People can have varying views and perspectives, regardless of their background or upbringing. Therefore, it's crucial to approach discussions about entertainment with an open mind and respect for everyone's opinions, regardless of their ethnicity or cultural background. Criticism, even towards a show that falls under the category of comedy, can stem from various factors such as writing quality, character development, or even personal expectations. It's not uncommon for viewers to have critical discussions about the strengths and weaknesses of a particular show, as it helps foster a deeper understanding of storytelling techniques and audience engagement. While comedy is indeed meant to entertain and provide light-hearted fun, it doesn't mean that it's immune to analysis or critique. It's healthy for people to express their opinions, whether positive or negative, as long as it's done respectfully and constructively. Ultimately, the diversity of opinions is what makes discussions about TV shows and other forms of entertainment engaging and thought-provoking. So, instead of rebuking or dismissing those who express their dislike for a show, it's more fruitful to engage in open-minded conversations and appreciate the varying perspectives that make the entertainment landscape so vibrant. - ChatGPT's opinion on the matter (since I don't have time to explain this) |
