| This awakening is kind of simple yet can be complicated. I feel like the awakening and so forth comes as an inspiration from One Piece, however the little difference is. Awakening happens when you are close to a life or death situation in hero academia. While awakening happens when you mind and body catches up the your power in One Piece. |

| So Endeavor got his ideal hybrid child on the first try but the ice powers in Dabi were suppressed πππ if only Dabi from the beginning had been like Shoto, all that abuse probably could have been avoided. I wonder how Rei will contribute to stopping Dabi. Also, Endeavor possibly dying before All Might is crazy lol. |

| So Dabi's power has finally awakened and now his fire won't kill him like before I'm guessing? well that's just twisted and cruel to Dabi, if he had his full power from the start he probably would've never became a villain and all for one would've never found him and recruited him... well damn that's just sad... So it seems like Rei will end up doing something here, I'm not sure how Dabi will react to seeing her and I wonder if she is actually powerful enough to cool him down? at first I thought Endeavor and Dabi were going to die right there but maybe not now? As other people have said, the Todoroki family drama is by far one of the best things in this series, it's so thought out and just amazingly written. Imagine how messed up it would be for Todoroki to get over there and to see basically his entire family dead, then his quirk could possibly have some sort of awakening and he'll do something crazy? I'm not sure what will happen but I'm excited! |

| Okay so Toya unlocks Rei's quirk as he's on the verge of death, Endeavor is about to sacrifice himself, and his wife shows up to ???? do something!??! What the hell is going on!! I was full on expecting an Endeavor death before the final page, so I have no idea how this will play out. I kind of half want Endeavor to be sacrificed,, to kind of up the stakes a little, but idk we'll see. Once we get Dabiout of the equation here I think we'll be a little closer to wrapping things up. Good stuff! |

| i enjoyed this chapter. dont know why people keep reading this if theyre just gonna whine about every chapter, if you dont enjoy it just drop it. theres been some pretty meh chapters here and there and i agree its being stretched out longer than nessacary but i still enjoy most chapters |

I interpreted it as Dabi copying phosphor only in terms of circulating his quirks emitted powers (His flames and or flame energy) throughout his body in order to counteract Shoto's previously used phosphor attack, rather than Dabi actually having inhereted his mother's ice powers. I mean, I guess it makes sense because Dabi has been holding back until his final confrontation with Shoto and his father due to his lack of stamina; now that it is the final showdown, he no longer needs to hold back. Dabi has been dead serious on taking out Endeavour and Shoto even at the cost of his own life. I am not sure it is awakening so much as Dabi literally burning himself alive so that he can take out Endeavour once and for all since he has no greater goal in life than that. So no, he never inherited Half and Half, he is simply using the same principle of Shoto's ultimate move phosphor to revive. Remember, the ice half of Shoto's quirk would have disabled his blueflame/cremation due to the ice half of Shoto's quirkl. Is it stupid? Well, I'd argue it is not really phosphor, but whatever. This is my interpretation, and if he really DID inherit Half and Half, then I will admit, it would be so fucking stupid. That all being said, Endeavor will likely die, and it is little surprise that Dabi would have risen up instead of being OHKO'd by Shoto. Endeavor's arc naturally leans towards him dying, as Dabi is right. He had been a shitty and abusive father, and his death with his son Dabi will be a typical way to conclude his development full circle. |

Geten at the start of the chapter: "Meta abilities grow more complex ... with some powers lying dormant, unbeknownst to the user" On page 10: "People can also summon absurd power in a crisis when it's do-or-die ... that power only manifests as the reaper draws near." And then the next page Endeavor points out "Rei's Quirk." I don't think this is Dabi using his own abilities to copy something else, from those lines above this is most definitely him tapping into inherited ice powers that were dormant within him. |

| Can this series just focus for one second on a plot line. Everything feels so disconnected and I just want to see this finish one of the 10 plot threads the series is failing to balance. All the parts are good, this was a good chapter, but the execution of the bigger picture series has been frustrating to read weekly. |

| Wait, Mr Compress is still alive? I thought bro sacrificed himself in the Paranormal Liberation War arc. Also Geten is related to Rei's bloodline. Toya's bones have started to get exposed at this point and not even a single strand of his hair has burnt π. I know Rei's quirk is letting him withstand the flames but he didn't unlock this before when he was fighting in Kamino ward. Ain't no way Hori brought Rei to fight against Toya π. A hospitalised lady who isn't a pro-hero and had mental health problems is here to fight a commander of the PLF. Wow Honestly, we need to focus on one plot line and not branch out every 5 chapters. Solve one then move on to the other one ffs. It has become so messy. Let Toya die at this point. Even if he's saved then he's still a murderer charred to the core and that can't be changed. |
