So watching Hana at the end, you won't get those prior references |
so yes that photo is the correct watch order. personally though as someone who did watch that way, i’d recommend watching hana after all of second season. just because of some suspense that would be lost when you watch hana in the middle like that. you don’t lose anything and either way is okay it’s just my personal opinion |

But I think if you look at Nisioisin’s intentions he clearly likes to deflate suspense, especially within Monogatari. So going through Otori, Oni, and Koi knowing what you know from Hana, you’re able to better focus on the dialogue and the character interactions. |
