| Amazing chapter. That Power and Aki panel hit me right in the feels. I kept on staring at that page for quite sometime reminiscing about part 1. Apart from that the fight between falling devil and Denji is crazy. I am loving it. Denji has become a much better fighter in this part. His experience as a devil hunter is showing. Also who was the guy who saved him in the end. Why does hell wants Asa Mitaka? What's really going on in this story. Fujimoto is building a very large, complex narrative with tons of mystery and intrigue. I can't wait to see the pay off of all this buildup he is doing. Overall chapter rating:-5/5. |

| 4.5/5 A classic CSM chapter on all fronts. Gore, action, pain, absurd comedy & shenanigans, hilarious dialogues, Denji's unparalleled logic, mystery...to say this isn't chainsaw man 101 would be an understatement!!! Falling devil is quickly climbing my favorite CSM characters list, her non-chalant demeanor is pleasing. She just keeps swatting Denji away but our boy knows no restraint and is having at her as expected. She explains her motivations, which is to transport Asa into hell. "My ex-potential girlfriend" line is probably the funniest in the whole manga. I was laughing hysterically when I read it. Only Denji could pull this off but all the giggling came to a sudden halt when I saw that Power & Aki panel. It was like I was briefly traumatized again just like Denji in that instance. Again, the ability of this man to make you laugh hysterically then suddenly make you sad & melancholy is unmatched Denji keeps fighting though with his bizzare brain damage logic, which at hindsight should never work but it does at the same time. Man was literally chowing down on that leg with no remorse. Falling devil exploding outta Denji was pretty hilarious too. Denji gets brutalized again & again until Falling leaves for Asa. Then, all of a sudden, we have this mystery character in a devil hunter attire or a highschool uniform helping Denji resurrect. This could go so many ways and I couldn't even begin to predict who it could be but the community speculations this week should be tasty. Falling encounter Asa and that's what we're left with One of the best CSM chapter ive read in a while. It's crazy that there's no break this week either. The Chainsaw Man train in now on full throttle and Fujimotor ain't stopping with them content anytime soon |
