| I've been kinda wondering, like we always here about how good HxH (Nen), One Piece (Devil Fruits) and your basic shounen anime's power system is and how that defines how good the series is. What are some power systems that are good but never talked about. |

| Bleach [cause usually people misunderstand Reiatsu with Reiryoku which is the proper power level aswell as they ain't know about Reii which is the classification/scaling of that power level] - Reiryoku which is a spiritual sensivity + willpower of the person, no it is not based on Reiatsu cause Reiatsu is just the physical representation of Reiryoku which characters can release, aswell as it is divided into Reii classes which classify users based on contration of Reiryoku within the Reishi of the Shinigami, from typical/weak Shinigami of class 20 into the Captain Level which are 3+ class. |
| Well their is the Yoki power in Claymore which is interesting as it plays around with the dangers of using to much Yoki can lead to bad things happening - including Awakening. What makes systems like this cool is the more powerful a character is the more prone to danger they are, it also gives weight to fights against stronger opponents cause even if the 'hero' can use their maximum power to defeat the enemy, they might slip and become the evil themselves. This system of pros vs cons power is also seen in Madoka Magica, with the magical girls in that series needing to hunt and kill their enemies in order to get grief seeds and use those to replenished their magical energy. Unlike in Claymore where the Claymores can avoid conflict, as to not need to use their Yoki, the Magical Girls given their nature of constantly needing magical energy to survive must go out and confront the enemy witches. And due to that need, they are more prone to conflict amongst themselves becoming territorial over their preferred hunting grounds. Outside of the above mentioned, Yu Yu Hakusho spirt energy is a precursor to Nen abilities seen in Hunter x Hunter with the idea like in HXH to have a balanced power system. Finally the Servants in Fate are both technically magical Stands (like Jojo) serving their magus masters. The servants also have class specific powers, such as Riding, Independent Action, Madness Enhancement or Presence Concealment they have attributes depending on if their legend derives from history, myth or is sourced from the gods amongst others. They have their own skills derived from legends - such as Evaporation of Reason, Imperial Privilege and Protection against the Winds. And finally their titular ultimate noble phantasm(s) which derives from the most notable accomplishment so King Arthurs Excalibur, Gilgamesh Gate of Babylon, Archers Unlimited Blade Works ect. |

| It's been said already, but Hamon from JoJo's parts 1 and 2 (and briefly 3) Even JoJo itself ditched it for the (admittedly WAY better) other power-system in the form of Stands. Hell, parts 7 and 8 include another new power-system in the Spin, which seems to also be way more popular than Hamon ever was, lol |
