| It depends really what year youre looking at. Cureently it's Uftable and Mappa. 5 years ago it was Shaft. 15 years ago it was Toei and Production I.G 40 years ago it was Tokyo Movie Shinsha And between there it was Nippon with World Masterpiece Theater |

| The obvious answer, especially from a consistency standpoint, is going to Kyoto Animation. Ufotable is probably the only other studio that I would say consistently produces at the highest quality. However, there are many studios that either have some great works, are generally consistent, or are very stylistic which could also be taken as someone's "best." A non-exhaustive of these types of studios would be Wit, MAPPA, Shaft, Bones, and Mad House. Many of these studios have works that are absolutely excellent, but also have some, or many, shows that are subpar. |
