I mean licensed almost as many as CR. But hey they did dub peter gril and thar urei yatsura show that looks basically like it did when it released 20 years ago. Yeah.. no. They sure didn't license almost as many as CR, like not even close, They had 10 winter anime simulcasts vs 40 on CR.. 1/4 isn't close. Urusei Yatsura is part of the Fall slate of dubs, where they dubbed(so far, they do some later dubs like Peter Grill s2 that was a summer anime and also some direct to blu ray with hidive later): -The Eminence in Shadow -Reincarnated as a Sword -Urusei Yatsura (2022) -Akiba Maid War They are announcing the Winter dubs next Friday at the Anime Boston panel. And the fact they got 7 simulcasts for spring (including kubo here) only makes more normal to have new dubs starting alongside them, not before, business sense tells you to keep have content coming out over time. |
