Based on the trailer, it seems like a cheesy Quintessential Quintuplets repeat anime. Am I wrong? Like is it good/has good moments? Worth the watch? The animation was pretty, I’ll give it that lol

They're very similar yet, notwithstanding, not the same. It's worth a watch if you like rom-coms.
Remember what Master Oogway told us:

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

In terms of being a rom-com with multiple pretty girls, then it's quite similar to QQ, Bokuben, and A Couple of Cuckoos. What sets Cafe Terrace apart and makes it worth reading for me is that the cast are older (17-20) and the main setting is work-focused, which allows it to not be as hung up on the typical high school-based progression.

Most importantly, compared to all of those other shows, does it actually deserve the "ecchi" tag?
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

nope not like quins

I've read to the latest chap 97 and I admit its different and this show might actually be good.

Firstly, there's no your typical high school romance stuff albeit it doesn't quite deserve the ecchi tag. Secondly, the characters are all bit on the adult side in terms of age. Thirdly, the girls all have a story behind them relating to their grandmas also working like them.

To be honest, I'm quite interested to unearth the mystery so give it a read or watch if you like romcom

It's not ecchi focused but it does have a lot of fan service

Harem romantic comedies have existed for decades before Quintessential Quintuplets. There are hundreds of them and almost all are literally the EXACT same thing in general so....yes, it's like any other harem romantic comedy, a genre that was the Isekai of 2000-2010.

yes i just read to chapter 40 ITS very like Quintuplets and its wonderful its blend of old school harem from the earlier chapter but once it finds its footing its like Quintuplets with focus on family and bonds the ecchi and slapstick stop after the early chapters.
