| My favorite is probably Kageyama Tobio. I think that, in fact, the main cast of Karasuno, in the majority, share a lot of the protagonism and my taste for them is well distributed. I have one or two favorites, but overall I like them all, especially the four main first years - Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. My least favorite could be none other than Ushijima Wakatoshi. Three whole seasons waiting for his character work and I end up watching a very weak backstory in my opinion. Secondary characters from less important games in Haikyuu are better crafted than Ushiwaka and his developments are more convincing, especially if we compare him with characters from Aoba Johsai. In fact, I think that even others from Shiratorizawa High School are much more competent characters than him in my view, like Satori Tendou. |
