Anime is better.Its more complete plus animation quality,colorings,sounds and etc overall id say anime is better.

Superior lol 😂, AOT's soundtrack and animation is top class, Isayama himself made lots of correction in the anime and consider anime as the final and more polished version of AOT.

Both are equally good, but I always prefer the source material which is the manga. The author's art and panelling are absolutely amazing plus a lot of important characterization of Levi and Mikasa was skipped/changed by WiT studio. Mikasa especially is like a completely different character in the manga compared to what is shown of her in the anime adaptation.
Studio MAPPA had also skipped/changed a few important panels.

Since you said that you have already read the manga, I bet you'll be able to notice the differences between the two.

As someone who continued past season one with the manga up to about volume 18 and then switched back, I personally prefer the anime. The manga is not bad, but the artwork and animation are top-notch for the majority of the anime. Action scenes are incomprehensible in the manga but look fantastic in the anime. The voice acting is great and the score is absolutely top-tier.

I view the anime as the ultimate way to experience Attack on Titan because that seems to be what Isayama believes as well. The anime holds a host of improvements, especially in the earlier parts, that elevate it beyond the manga in terms of organization and comprehensibility. The direction is generally more detailed and subtle in its world building. Anyway, watch the anime. Good luck!

Many people are saying that anime is better but i know that they're saying that because they haven't even read the manga. My friend but i still recommend you to watch the anime.

isayama has said that the anime is the peak version of the show. The clearest way to see with is to look at the execution of the battle of sheganshina in the anime vs the manga. isayama was closely working with the anime team since season one, making nessasary changes to pacing and minor details. also isayama was learning how to draw throughout the manga, the earlier chapters have less than stellar art, but of course he improves and develops a style that is honestly really good by the end

The manga was better in some emotional scenes but I enjoyed the anime better cause I like to see the action scenes animated

Anime is way better until season 3 part 2 after that I prefer the manga basically after WIT studio the anime just isn’t the same CG, annoying filter etc.

Well, if anime is made correct it may be better to watch it instead read manga, especially when the animation is good. But sometimes it isn't the best idea. It all depends on how it is made.

For most series which actually do have a fleshed out manga, the manga is almost always better. AoT is the one exception where I feel like the anime is fairly objectively better, even with the manga already being amazing. Its top class soundtrack, voice acting, and animation all make for a perfect adaption. And the anime expands a lot upon action scenes which in the manga may have been only a few panels. Isayama considers the anime the definitive work as well for all of these reasons.

Sometimes an anime does not bring its source material to life and take advantage of the animated medium but that is not the case here. Voicing and sound design is great, art and animation brought to life (and death lol) and the pace at which is goes is jolly good.

I've only ever watched anime and I'm only starting manga with a silent voice. Manga has a lot more in it where anime would cut bits out of it.

the final season is considerably worse than the previous seasons because of mappa's animation so yeah manga better. have you seen how hard they fumbled the freedom panel?

Isayama in an interview stated that the anime is the “purest” form of AOT because he worked very closely on it and was able to change anything he didn’t like from the manga. So the anime is arguably better.

Yes it is, I mean , Sawano and Yamamoto are enough to make the anime experience much better than the manga. Also, kaji and all voice actors made a great work in this anime, so I think that , at least this time, we have an anime better than the manga
