Would you consider your taste in anime to be mixed?

Do you like both battle shounes and Avant-garde anime? Do you like both Ecchi and Slice of life anime? Do you like both CGDCT and psychological anime? Or do you for the most part just stick to a few or one kind of types of animes?

Maybe, my favorite genre is slice of life/CGDCT but I also like watching anime from many other genres.

Kinda mixed. I like mostly SoL, but I can definitely watch Sci-Fi, Psychological anime and many others if they have a good story.

No, I like a particular type of anime. I would call it realism.
I'm not a toddler anymore dreaming of making it big like your tipical shounen or your dumbest kind of psycological anime like Death Note.

I have a few things that I dislike and can't stand (fan-service, sexualized content, romanticized abuse or rape, forced relationships) besides these I don't mind watching most other things from various genres so maybe it's mixed to some degree.

yeah, of course, but i go through these kind of "phases" when it comes to what kind of anime i watch. for a few weeks or months i will be hyperfocused on watching, let's say, CGDCT only, then it'll pass, and i'll hyperfocus on mahou shoujo, horror anime or something, lol.

I'm mostly a seinen guy with psychological themes but I like slice of life and ecchi, if it's more unique or has a message I can relate to.

Yeah. I have rated Dragon Ball, Angel's Egg, Dirty Pair and Texhnolyze the same.

I would consider myself eclectic but not ad infinitum. I will watch a lot of different genre and styles but there are a few that just don't interest me or I think should be less of in general. (cgdct, sol, ecchi, incest, female idol ect)

Both ecchi and slice of life are my favourite genre.

I like anything that isn't shounen.

absolutely. there's no type of anime that i hate. even yaoi, i avoid watching it but it's not as if i hate it. if someone suggests me one with a really good story i might given even it a try. i've watched anime from almost all genres and i loved all. all genres, old or new, doesn't matter.

I like everything except for ecchi and harem. So... I guess my taste it's pretty mixed? I will let others to judge.

Yes. I enjoy a good gore as much as i enjoy a good slice of life.

I don't care about genre. I just watch what interests me.
Usually it's romace, SoL, CGDCT, fantasy, adventure and sports tho

I would say so, with the main mix of genres coming from a lot of the seasonals I watch.

I tend to watch a little of everything. The shows that are really heavy on the incest vibes aren't for me, but there's not much I won't at least give a try.

I believe my tastes are mixed. I started with shonen, then expanded to drama, comedy, ecchi, and seinen.

i have tried at least a few Anime of pretty much every genre at this point, but i would be lying if i said im not a Shonen/Ecchi junky still. also i would probably think twice or more before starting a Mecha or Tragedy Anime as these are my least favorite. 

Yeah, my taste isn't totally genre specific. There's some genres I'm more likely to enjoy, like CGDCT, idol, magical girl, etc, but there's also plenty of shows outside of those genres that I've loved as well. I'm pretty open to trying out anime that don't line up with what I've liked in the past and sometimes found new anime I love through that.

I'm very open-minded about genre and my taste in anime mixed. There are a few genres that i like more than others but i almost never turn down an anime because of it's genre alone.

My favorite type of anime is the "good" type. If it's good then I don't care about genre, though some genres have more good stuff than others.

I have what some people may consider a "trash taste" in anime since i mostly watch hentai and ecchi.

I can watch any type of show and like it.

I'd watch and enjoy everything if I'm hooked enough, except maybe lengthy sport anime and in general anime above ca. 200-300 episodes and I have a high preference for fantasy tho, but that doesn't stop me from exploring other genres.

Also I look into lot of anime and decide based on first impressions or maybe someone's recommendation, if I'd keep it in my currently watching- or on hold-lists.

I assume that most people associate me with ecchi while my retail collection has a little bit of everything. ...except sports and yaoi.

My taste is pretty consistent - mostly atmospheric series, suspense series and action series. Sometimes the shows I watch combined these elements so Wolfs Rain is an atmospheric action series, whereas Monster is a psychological suspense series and Fate/Zero is an action, psychological series and so on. I don't really mind if its set in a fantasy or science fiction setting, or a mash of the two. 

I watched a few slice of life series, but I generally don't really care for them.

I've watched and enjoyed anime from a multitude of genre's and themes, there's a few i don't like but for the most parrt, i'd say my taste's pretty mixed.

Same here as long it generally keep me interested or somewhat of a guilty pleasure if not good.

I like to think so. All of my favorites on MAL have a genre that is unique to them so I can appreciate a lot of kinds of shows. I've also discovered a ton of great shows just be getting out of my comfort zone.

I mostly stick to slice-of-life or drama series, but I do branch out here and there. 

Mixed, there are few anime genres I would say I dislike, I try different types, watching the same stuff gets boring and I don't want to be burnt out.

You don't get to over a year of anime without branching out to pretty much every type of anime out there.

I definitely have a preference for certain genres but yeah I'm open minded about every genre out their, except for ecchi. Even then, if I hear there's a good show out there that unfortunately has the ecchi tag I'll give it a chance, although very rarely.

I would say it's mixed, since I do give almost every genre an honest attempt. I'd like to think that my favorites list shows this.

I think I can appreciate when something is well-made and thought of. That's why I don't compare shows with different genre to each other when rating anime. When rating romance anime, I think of how good it is on the romance anime spectrum. I do the same with other genres as well. I think that having mixed taste is just an equivalent of being objective in your perception

I watch mystery, idol, sci-fi, slice of life, drama, action-adventure, moe, rom com, and romance genres. Battle shonen is the one genre I am not a fan of, but I have seen demon slayer and Hunter x Hunter.
I definitely watch more avent-garde anime though. Akiba Maid War is on my favorites list.
