| I assume lelouch is a great choice for people who like smart characters, levi for cool characters, and luffy for fun characters? Although I don't really consider luffy just a fun character but it fit the grouping lol |

| Lelouch, the sacrificial protagonist that's presented with tragedy yet a bittersweet ending. A character that's presented to be a master manipulator all throughout the series too. So that's the charm. Levi is a jack of all traits, really. He's shown to be extremely badass with his flashy moves when it comes to killing titans. Ever notice the spinning move that he does whenever he goes for the kill? That's his signature move basically. He's also cold on the outside but warm on the inside. That attracts a lot of people. Lastly, he's also pretty good-looking. Luffy is the shounen protagonist that embodies everything that people love. He has the character, heart, justice, and quirky personality that's fun to be around, and he's VERY inspirational to people. With series such as One Piece, he's character aroura emits the entire series. |

| Badass characters that get what they want through their own determination, and they all start with L. I think Lelouch and Levi have the advantage of male and female fans, and Luffy benefits from being the MC of possibly the most popular series of all time. |

| EDGE, Fangirls and Fanboys Levi is popular because of fangirls and his strength Lelouch is popular because he is edgy (Same with Eren and Light) Luffy is popular because of the popularity of One Piece Anyways, all three are Garbage Characters (Even though they are 3 dimensional except Levi) because Luffy is too childish (Gon is still better written), Lelouch's whole plan was too ridiculous as well the whole plot of Code GeASS and Levi is self explanatory |

| Levi's in my favorites and I can tell you why I like him! He's obviously a badass. He's introverted, but he's still confident. He's loyal to his friends but is also brutally honest with them and won't follow them if he doesn't believe it's right. He keeps cool, but when he does show emotion it is either really raw and impactful or provides a little bit of humor to a show where that's a rarity. He has a good backstory. And he's not ugly lol. Obviously this is just my opinion and I'm not saying he for sure deserves to be in the top 3 or that he doesn't. Luffy's a good character. He has that dense with a heart of gold thing going for him. It's super endearing. And he is powerful. Also well written. But mostly I think he's the mc of one of the most beloved anime of all time. I also think that a lot of people have a lot of nostalgia regarding one piece. It's an anime a lot of people started a long time ago/many people's first anime and have stuck with for a long time. It makes sense to me that he's in the top 3. I can't comment on Lelouch, I've never seen code geass. |
| Girls are attracted the their masculine charms and guys could reasonably relate to them. They are determined and confident (not necessary competent if you consider Luffy) leaders. Girls like that. Lelouch, revolution, should easily appeal to anyone who things that world is unfair. That is majority or teens, young adults and many single people who are much older. Only people with their own children can hate him really. I did not watch enough of SnK to judge Levi much Luffy is easygoing and friendly enough for guys to think he will make a good friend. Even parents with kids can find him likable. |
