| Ha, the man service of this episode. This was amusing. Seems that Yoichi realized what he is capable of and can improve even further on his gameplay. The question is whether his two teammates can co-exist together as a trio. |

| Yes a good training lays the foundation for a great play… take a note or two Isagi. As only mumbling and talking inside your head would only take you where even side NPC’s like Naruhaya disrespect you to the boot. Though good thing he’s not irredeemable and already chasing Barou, it’s a different thing that the spiky dude isn’t willing to help him in any shape. Now now Obsessive-kun, keep the homo aura within limits. It’s literally overflowing at this point and no that ain’t something you’re doing out of your wish of taking revenge against Nagi. But I mean who can stop the inevitable, the match between Isagi trio and Kunigami trio is already on the cards. Unsurprisingly Isagi’s team is already trailing behind, I mean after all they have to give something to show opponents aren't an easy catch. |

| Barou has such an interesting personality beyond his tough exterior. I like his quirkiness of being clean and tidy. Him and Nagi are such a funny pair too. A reunion of old friends in a 3v3 match. This'll be exciting. |

| Nagi and Barou messing up the room, and the king becoming a meticulous maid is a nice sight lols. He's also a character worth training with and understanding for if they want to move forward. Barou's strict self-discipline regime, it's almost like an obsession of "if you can't beat em', join em", and as much as Isagi and Nagi wants to get on the ball act quick, skills like these are paramount too. Anri and Ego speaking to the sponsors in a conference to countermeasure the Squid Game soccer project to etch the genius striker in Blue Lock, and Ego means it with all his heart. On the other hand, Chigiri, Reo and Kunigami want to battle Isagi's 3-man team so hard, they hardly can't wait. Isagi, wanting to conduct a cohesive play with Barou, considers his options to fuse his "adaptability" with him, but the Maid will just not nudge from his hard-and-fast rules. Isagi and Kunigami's report time in the baths, and Barou continues his OCD-ness even in there too, he's too caring. Regardless, the 3 vs 3 match is on, and Isagi has to be the middle man between Nagi and Barou's teamwork. Even before the match, all 3 of them considering different people if they won, but losing will take one of them away. This is the same for Kunigami's team to pick Nagi, even though Reo butts his personal feelings into it, the match will foretell who will come out on top. Bachira's the same: waiting for Isagi, while training with Rin. Team Red vs. Team White: Kunigami - Barou, Chigiri - Nagi and Reo - Isagi, this match is off to a bad start for Isagi, thinking to outride both Reo and Kunigami after the ball is stolen from Barou. The Tri-Session of Team Red gave them first blood, and Isagi, Nagi and Barou will have to play catch up. |

| Wtf was that additional time, Maid Barou is so cursed lmao. T-T The bath scene tho, I guess now we know where all the budget went. Isagi with his hair like that looks nice. Chigiri is so pretty (as always), and Kunigami and Barou are just built different. Nagi and Barou bantering is always fun to watch. Omg Reo has eyebags under his eyes, that's so hilarious. The start of emo Reo arc, let's gooooo. And I love Kunigami and Chigiri's friendship. Really hope the studio saved a good portion of the budget for the rest of the matches. |

| Looks like both teams trained and worked hard and now they go up against each other, the Maid Barou part was funny though. Match begins and it looks like Reo's team have it figured out while Isagi's team is still struggling and thus Reo's team scoring the 1-0. |

| It's pretty obvious that Barou is going to have to abandon his ideals(at least for a little bit) to be successful In this match. He has to "use" Isagi or they'll get crushed and then he'll be stuck with Isagi LMAO. Reo pissed me off this episode. So fucking clingy. Kunigami said it well, don't bring personal relationships into it. This is Blue lock ffs. lol at Rin's team not finding anyone to play with. Don't worry, the strong competitors are on their way. Also, that additional time was amazing as usual |

| Lol Barou reminds me of Levi from AOT, super serious but at the same time a stickler for cleanliness. That additional time was crazy 💀 Reo is taking Nagi leaving him behind so personally, like chill dude. His team has taken an early 1-0 lead, taking advantage of Barou's unwillingness to pass to double him up and steal the ball. Barou is gonna have to stop being so selfish if he wants to have a shot at winning. This should be an exciting match since both teams are made up entirely of relevant characters, so it feels like it could go either way and the stakes actually feel real. |

| that is the worst episode so far, a bunch of naked teenagers made to fujoshi's fanservice. at least next one probably will be way better. what was Isagi running without moving at the end of the episode? hahah damn barou long range knuckle shot, very hard discipline plus the hair it very much based on cristiano ronaldo. |

| In this episode, we mostly get to see the setup for the next battle that barely gets a chance to start before the end, namely the 3v3 between Isagi's team and Reo's team. We see each team strategize, think, and plan for how they will beat the other, and what player they will want when they do win. We also get a short look at how Bachira and his team are doing, seemingly stuck on the 4th level with no one wanting to play against his team... We get to see more of Barou's personality and how meticulous and driven he is. He didn't get to be this genius without effort. No, he put in more effort and discipline than most others could even conceive of. Our trio is struggling with teamwork, and we see just how lackluster that teamwork is when Reo's team score the first goal in their 3v3 at the very end of the episode. Now we can only wait and see how Isagi's trio will fare and handle these new challenges and hopefully overcome them. It is looking to be an intense and action-packed rivalry battle, so I'm looking forward to it. |
| Great episode as always!!! This game is gonna be awesome. I still think it’s odd that Reo’s team didn’t play someone immediately, but whatever. And I guess Rin’s team might end up waiting around for Isagi after all!! |

| 2.5/5 A decent episode. It was funny, quirky, drab all at the same time but definitely some hype moments especially at the end there Barou being a clean freak is hilarious. Him in a maid costume was an image I DID NOT wanted to see but it's a quirky personality for such a bull-head. His banters with Nagi is my favorite story beat right now. We have some training going on and a brief cameo from Ego and his philosophies. I could hear this man rant about how trash Japanese football is all day xD. We also get to see what's Bachira been up to. A little fan-service bath scene with them boys which ultimately leads to our next match up where Isagi has to face off against his former teammates who have gotten quite sturdy and capable themselves with Nagi's emo friend Rio. Isagi looks stumped AGAIN. This man too fragile and a classic over thinker, an obnoxious anime trope Average animation. One thing that keeps haunting this anime but I have to say, they've atleast improved on some of the still shots but still fall flat in some instances. We'll see what transpires next week!! |

| I find it interesting to get more insight of Barou's character as well as of his habits and self made rules. Even if it should be very clear what kind of football Barou prefers, Isagi still tries to dig deeper which ended up in the same result. Barou might be one of the best players in Blue Lock, but at the same time his selfish play-style prevents him from getting onto the next level. When Isagi met Kunigami, Chigiri and Reo I had a feeling this would end in them challenging each other to a match. The match itself had a great start, where Kunigami, Chigiri and Reo made use of Barou's selfish behavior and scored therefor the first goal. At this point even a stubborn guy like him should understand that if he keeps this up they will lose the match. The way Isagi and Nagi got fired up by the opposing goal, got even me fired up. Can't wait to see how this match will play out and which player will get chosen. Not to forget. Maid Barou totally cracked me up :D  |
