Dub is not bad it's actually good compare to many anime that got really worse dubbing.

I like the dub. I can't watch most anime's dub idk why but I just can't but cowboy bebop's dub is so good that I could watch both sub and dub

Bebop’s dub is arguably better than the sub, which is actually very rare in most cases. Some people (including myself) believe it to be the best dub of all time

not really . . . it just happened to be a really good dub in the middle of the sea of trash dubs (especially at the time it came out).
if you wanna treat is as a standard . . . fine . . . it's honestly good enough to be the standard. but, it's not like nothing else has ever came close to it. plenty of newer dubs have come close and sometimes even surpassed it. examples are, jojos 5 and 6 ,some parts of overlord, made in abyss, promised neverland, baccano, vinland saga, berserk 1997, first half of claymore, golden kamuy, one piece at times, death parade, gosick, and many more dubs that are comparable (not necessarily better but close) to cowboy bebops dub.

Yeah Bebop is definitely one of the best that it almost feels like the anime was first produced in English. I think there are still other great dubs but Bebop is definitely one that everyone can agree on

Factually, yes. The creator himself says the english dub is the version of spike he wanted originally. And his later work Space Dandy is proof of this, hence why it was released in an english dub, originally. You heard that right the canon version of Space Dandy is English.

It was good. I was never one to shit on a Dub, cause its much easier to suffer lesser VA Quality as opposed to reading your shows, but I watched it entirely in English, and it was nowhere near bad. That 90s feel it has makes it a pleasant watch. You cant really have a bad time watching Cowboy Bebop, anyways. Give the Dub a try. Save yourself the reading for this one.

This is one of the only shows I prefer the dub. I can tell they put a lot of care into the voice acting.

Always happy to share things, most of the best information is is lost because google no longer index's all the best anime blogs because they used slurs and have "unsavory content" and talk about political things (wow shocking every SINGLE JAPANESE ANIME FILM is political)

The dubs for the ghibli films are very well done, Dragonball is good if not better, Naruto is good, death note, pretty much any super popular or high budget projects tend to have good dub. There's the occasional badly voiced characters even in good dubbed shows.

Cowboy Bebops Dub is without a doubt a great dub but I’m not gonna lie I think it’s kinda overrated like everyone says it’s the best dub ever and like I said yes fantastic dub but I feel like I’ve heard better Dubs still. I just don’t see how this one trumps all of them

This and Spice & Wolf both had really well done dubbing. The voice actors captured the spirit of the characters and managed to find the tone well in English, which can be difficult with localization.

They raised the standard with the dub. Looking back to what we were getting, especially from some of the lesser titles, we had two dubs we would end up with. Balls to the wall overacting that some actors just ran with for their whole careers, and bless them for it, or cold, don't feel a thing for this script reads. And there are plenty of times prior and since we had a seasoned stage/screen actor faceplant giving a dub. But then Bebop got dubbed and even second and third tier titles were getting really good English dubs. Shows that didn't have any following in Japan were licensed on the cheap here, got a killer dub, aired on Toonami, and are now classic for fans overseas. If it hadn't been as good as it was, alot that came out in the early oughts wouldn't have been as good.

not really however it doesn't take away the fact that it is one of the best dubs, cos you got to remember that there was anime like 1997 berserk out which also provided with subliminal voice acting

It’s one of the better dubs out there. A lot of the 90s adult swim era anime like Bebop, Outlaw Star, and Trigun have pretty good dubs. I’m usually sub > dub but I watched those dubbed.
