| Volume 4, Chapter 11: I hoped this story would avoid it, but this chapter confirmed that this series is mediocre writing. This story resolved a falsely accused plot line in about the worst way you can. A good story has pieces of evidence slowly get pulled until the entire lie collapses, but this story doesn't do that. Instead the Queen assumed it was all a lie and used forced to confirm her suspicions. This chapter also makes the Queen look to be the worst character in story. She had evidence the King was being deceived but never gave him the evidence. She should have known the King was in a personal spat with the Shield Hero and would never work well with him until innocence was proven. The Queen decided to not provide that and tell him to work well with a man he believed assaulted his daughter. The Queen is a horrible person and she deserves a daughter like Malty. |
