| The presentation was as simple and straightforward as the premise suggested. Now, on to the main story: wow! Everything was quickly resolved in the first episode! The entire first episode felt like a complete stand alone short movie rather than a TV series; meaning it doesn't give you a reason to continue watching because now they'll have to introduce new story problems that need to be resolved, and are probably unrelated to the entire revenge plot they promised. It could have been good had the 1st episode been expanded instead of making it an Akame ga Kill clone. |

| Wow, I actually ignored this for quite awhile but I didn't know it was this good. However, I am a bit conflicted about how much this series gives so many tragic scenes like it's nothing. Reminds me of DC. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Beautiful looking show so far, we have cool ancient tech, cool fights, a likeable MC and conspiracies and tackling Christainity in feudal Japan. You have my intrigue. And I wasn't expecting that ending. |

| It was OK. I don't know what it is with anime but they can't seem to stay away from plot-holes. While a minor nuisance in comedy it's especially irritating and story-breaking in a story that presents itself in a serious manner. The death of the wife was irrational and contrived, because it was avoidable. Given the setting and time-period, one of the first things the MC would had done was to sent a secret message to his wife after learning the truth, to, exactly, avoid her voluntary death, as it was so common in that setting and time-period. But no, the story expects us to pretend we don't know, the MC doesn't know, and everything was one big surprise LOL To pretend we're stupid and ignorant, and buy the bs. This anime is another in a growing list of SECOND-HAND works, made by secondaries for secondaries. Meaning, created by people unfamiliar with the source material. How can it be that Japanese are unfamiliar with Japanese history, you ask? Well, knowledge of one's own history shouldn't be taken for granted, whether you're in South East Asia, America, and even Japan. |
