| Glad this is back,season starting strong with a flashback arc as always and this time its Natsume Soseki and Rampo's time to shine, loved the black and white, made it feel like a 50s mystery movie now i hope the flashback isn't as long as in season 3 or modern arc will also feel like side story... |

| Its been a while but its nice to see the team once more. Well thats one creative way of organising one's thoughts. Its so weird seeing Rampo as a laid back civilian though. Even back then he was still so unothadox. But his deduction was damm spot on. The muted colours really do well to enhance the time that the show took place in. Though a side story its nice seeing how Rampo and the boss actually had their first meeting. Quite curious as to what will happen in this case though but overall a fun ep that did well to intrduce us to the prez and Rampo as they were before the detective agency become a thing. |

| Very great first episode, same as s2 and s3, it started with what happened before s1, looking forward to seeing how Ranpo would stop the attacker. |

| A great way to kick off the new season. We're getting two backstories and a peek into the history of the Armed Detective Agency. Having watched BSD 3 years ago, I found myself a bit lost at the start of the episode, but once Ranpo made an appearance, it started coming back to me. Animation is consistent and still going strong. |

| ALRIGHT, I may or may not... have shed some tears during the first minutes... :v what a nice surprise!! they are adapting the Untold Origins novel, which makes total sense to lay the foundation before the events of the next arc. oh how I missed them like that, animated. <3 good to be back! hoping it will be 2-cour. |

| RANPOOOOOOOOOOOOO <3 Yall I got sad when this episode ended lol and that happens NEVER. Ah, the Bungou Stray Dogs fight scenes that are actual art, I missed that without even realizing that I missed that. It's been a while since I watched the last season and I've watched so many things in the meantime that I forgot how good this franchise actually is (but babyy I got reminded), this season in particular is giving peak entertainment+involvement. Oh and also the only franchise whose throwbacks I actually enjoy lol. Loooove the dynamic between the duo and super excited for more eps! |

| For many people, it’s been quite a while since Season 3 of BSD, but for me, I just finished Season 3 just a few weeks ago, so it’s still pretty fresh in my mind. For the last two seasons, the first arc consisted of a flashback/side story, and once again, this was the case for this season. Rampo is one of the better characters in this series, so I’m glad we got a backstory of him and Fukuzawa, another character that I wanted to know more about. A pretty good start this episode, with some mysteries to be solved. It might not be the best the season has to offer, but I am still quite excited for whatever comes out of this season of BSD. |

I loved the first epI loved it! I haven't read the novel of Fukuzawa and Ranpo, so I'm very very excited to go blind into this story! From the vague information I have about the novel, what happens here (no spoilers) relates A LOT with the scenes of the manga that are going to be animated. So overall yeaaaah I'm so delighted! I was very satisfied with the animation, the art direction and beautiful ops and eds too <3 PD: If you haven't noticed, every BSD anime season includes a novel adaptation alongside the main content based of the manga, even the first season! So yeah you shoud be already used to it, the novels are really good and give a lot of key information, they absolutely complement the manga. I think it's actually great the producers adapt the complementary material, 'cause most producers don't, so I actually do not understand a lot when people say that's a turn down???? |
| From someone who hates Bungou Stray Dogs last 3 seasons i have to say i loved this episode, there's nothing bad i could say aout it and pages and pages concerning the positives. Maybe this time i finally enjoy this show, won't keep my hopes up though, that might come to bite me in the back later. |
