Aki from beginning to end was a bitch to everyone, especially Yoshino who is the closest thing to a friend (let alone best friend) she has. She treats her like a disposable slave.

Even if that "piggy" name was a misunderstanding, it did not justify any of her behaviour.

Yoshino is basically Cinderella and Aki is the evil step sister. Letting Aki win is a slap to the face of all the readers.

The ending was obviously from the start, it was 100% guarantee that Aki and Masa would end up together. And Aki got really nice character development in my opinion, she was initially cold she was Ice queen but going through the story we learned why she was the way she is and the time she spent with Masa slowly melted that ice around her. If you read the After school and rental boyfriend side/after stories you’ll see how much she has grown.

I knew Aki would win however I hate how near the end of the manga they started baiting us into thinking that Yoshino had a chance. Overall it was a pretty shit series
