They did an excellent job on this episode, whipping out some good animation and portraying Pain's abilities perfectly. He really does look like a god at this point. Favorite bit of dialogue from this episode was when after sparring with Pain he couldn't believe that Jiraiya had actually fought all six of these guys at once. "Absurd." |

| Farewell Kakashi. He will be more than missed. This episode once again reminded me why I loved him so much. His fights were always good, and he is brilliant strategist as well as fighter. So, I guess it's going to be more about Narutos one-style fighting from now on. Too bad...too bad. Good episode overall, loved the fighting. Also, just one question for those manga readers in here. Is there a mention(or chapter) of what happened to Rin? I don't recall seeing it in anime. |

I love how in this episode it forshadowed more information bout Obito and rin, his two best friends during the 3rd shinobi world war. He also got to see his father, right before his death. Yeah those are two mysteries, obito and rin im sure will play some sort of role in the future, after all we don't even know if rin is really dead since they never resolved that and we don't know what happened to obito either. R.I.P One of my favorite characters in naruto dies, you will be greatly missed and thanks kakashi for all that you gave during your time spent with team 7 and team 10. You were a legend among shinobi. Yeah this series does not shy away from death, but i like how they make it very dramatic. But thats not a bad thing. Characters are portrayed more realistically in that fashion then any other shonen ive seen. When your on a battlefield, surrounded by danger at every corner, you will die. You put you life on the line. Before you become a shinobi you must know full well the consequences. That is the way of the shinobi and you have to accept that when marching into battle. They even mentioned that in the first series. In any case this arc really has some of the most amazing action and dramatic events in the history of the series. |

| My first reaction was sadness, but thinking about it it is tough to believe Kakashi is actually dead. There is too much story to be mined from his past imo. Or maybe the fact that he may well be my favorite character is making me want to believe what I am typing. Well, at least they know the "main" Pain's abilities now. |

| Kakashi made me all sad, it was soooo sweet when he saw his team and his father again... I don't like reading the manga before watching the anime so I'm not sure what happens to Kakashi, but I don't think he's gonna die, it's too soon after Jiraya's death... He just HAS to be saved, I won't stand it if he dies. |
| I really love when Chouji gets screen time, even though its really rare. The fight was incredible, and I can't wait to see how this arc progresses. |

| That was intense and emotional. I read this once and it describes what I want to say: "Watching Kakashi fight is breathtaking; the fluidity of his motions, the lack of unnecessary movements, the speed, the agility and the composure" The scene with "Obito, Rein, Minato-Sensei" made me cry, then the meeting with his father and his smile at the end. My beloved Kakashi <3 |
