I hope that we will a complete Adaption of the Manga. If it would be a sequel, then they would have announced it right away, i think.

There ain’t no way since the manga isn’t even done yet, about a year ago the author said the manga was 50% done so it is probably a sequel

The manga is reaching climax or if they want to expand the story with going to gehenna than it is half way done.

It’s said to not be a sequel so most likely it’s going to be a remake.

Oricon is a reliable Japanese based company so I don’t think they are wrong

1st season of the suffered from the fillers, bcs when the anime started to air, the manga had 23-24 chapter released, thats why 1/3 of the season was filler,2nd season was lackluster bcs the arc itself was weak.
But upcoming arcs are miles better than the Kyoto arc.
Whole remake will be awesome too with better pacing.

Well, when I checked manga recently it was so bullshit... So I think sequel to (shitty as well) filler could be better. This series had potential, but I think manga author has no idea what he want to create.

Only the recent arc is not good, there is some amazing arcs are waiting to be animated.
You know almost every shounen last arcs sucks, only few ones are good, so to be expected to be bad.

"Shin" or "new" doesn't really mean remake or reboot, it could be simply new season of the series aka sequel

I think it maybe can be a new season, since the manga isn't finished i don't see why they will do a remake, but a new season or a remake will make me happy. It was the first manga I bought and one of the firsts animes I saw, just hoping that they can make something really good
