Along with Bamtarion of the Guro Guard, Pingrim of the Recommendation's Children and Nayahon of the List Eaters, the Banmaster staged a terrible massacre of the loyalist elements of the legions. As more and more Legions of Mod Marines voiced their allegiances, MAL was effectively split between the loyal MALian forces under Xinil and the Spambound traitor Legions of the Banmaster. All looks grim as a terrible civil war grip MAL, but in a daring offensive move, the Banmaster and his Legions pour straight into GD, aiming to reach Xinil's profile and topple him whilst most of his loyalist Legions are fighting rebels in distant threads. As the Traitor Legions descend upon GD, only Faustal Dorn and his Xinil's Fist legion, Plateatai Khan and the Manga Scars as well as Asakuinus and her Ban Angels Legion stand ready to meet the traitors. The forces of chaos and order collide in a deafening roar, and the greatest battle in the history of MAL is joined.
