The official website of the Masamune-kun no Revenge R (Masamune-kun's Revenge R) television anime revealed an additional cast pair, the opening theme, and the first promo on Friday. The anime is scheduled to broadcast in Spring 2023.

Miku Itou (5-toubun no Hanayome) and Yasuyuki Kase (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) are joining the cast as Muriel Besson and Franck Besson, respectively.

Voice actress and singer Ayaka Ohashi (Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?) is performing the opening theme "Please, please!" which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Mirai Minato (Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru) is directing the television anime at SILVER LINK.. Michiko Yokote (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!, Yofukashi no Uta) is handling the series composition and script. Yuuki Sawairi (Meikyuu Black Company) is the chief animation director and character designer. Tatsuya Katou (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?) is composing the music.

The anime series adapts Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv's romantic comedy manga, which was serialized in Comic REX magazine from October 2012 to June 2018. Ichijinsha shipped the 11th and final volume in April 2019. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in September 2015 and released the final volume in May 2020.

Has Miku really decided to stop limiting herself to only all-female shows? Looking at Aimi's career, I'm really starting to feel like Bushi decided to take their stars' careers a lot further.

Don’t know if it’s just me but there seemed to be a lack of creativity in the Op visuals. Oh well, I kind of enjoyed the first season, so as long as the quality of the show is not worse than that, I’m fine lol.

By the looks of it it's just pasted scenes from the new season, not the actual op

This plague wouldn't have gotten a second season, as I still remember the literal scarcity of likeable characters in it.

I will never forgive this series for the shenanigans it pulled in the end. It wasn't even about the girl that won which I had no problem with but how it all went down rubbed me the wrong way.
