Anime NYC 2022: MixBox meets MyAnimeList

MyAnimeList will be running a joint booth with MixBox at Anime NYC 2022 from November 18-20, 2022. MixBox is the popular streaming platform by Bandai Namco Music Live that allows you to connect with other fans around the world in real time while listening to anisong. https://mixbox.live/

If you'll be at the convention this weekend, come stop by our booth and say hi!

We'll be hosting a few different activities, including:

• MixBox Music + Photo Spot
  Come listen to some great anisong tunes and take a moment to recharge between events. Don't forget to snap a photo with Lan Amane, the official MixBox navigator, and grab a special can badge before supply runs out! Don't miss special messages from some of your favorite Bandai Namco Music Live artists, such as Ryo Takashi a.k.a Void_Chords and Mirai Akari.
  
  
• Anime Music Quiz
  Put your anime knowledge to the test! Listen to opening and ending songs and guess which anime they are from to win prizes.
  
  
• Music Box Activity
  Recreate popular anime songs as charming music box melodies ♫ Punch holes into our do-it-yourself song strips and then feed them into a music box to play the notes. Take the song strips home as a souvenir or to play in your own music box.

That sounds like a fun experience. But all these conventions are so far from me!

Not even Elon Musk could pay enough for them to make dark mode.

Aw, New York is on the other side of the country for me, but have fun! If y'all are ever doing anything on the lower west coast then let us know! I'm sure some of the Cali cons would probably be down to have you!
