| Wow very interesting stuff. So Yuko isn't fused with the Justice Devil, but it left some imprint on her so now she's mutated. She had a very sweet moment with Asa and the shoes... Quick detail I noticed, Denji was asleep with some dogs and Nayuta :) We also get a shot of the freckled girl sleeping. Perhaps to show us that she's not a threat? Or because maybe she's really important? Then there's "Chainsaw Man" killing Yuko at the end... We see Denji in real time asleep, so this can't be him. We know it's not some "Saw Devil" or something because we see the SFX of the chainsaw sounds beforehand... so this must be some shapeshifter huh? Perhaps the freckled chick we saw that's Yoru's big sis wasn't controlling one of her classmates, but maybe she was impersonating her... |

| This chapter was really good. I loved the conversation between Yuko and Asa. The callback to chapter 100 made this arc come full circle. I love how Fujimoto humanised Yuko but didn't forgave her. She was wrong for what she did but she was still just a misguided person. Her dying was not sad for me. She deserves it for her actions but I can still see the humanity in her. Also Nayuta is back. Now we can be sure that Fujimoto didn't forget her. She is still very much present in the story. That fake Chainsaw Man thing is very interesting. I am assuming either someone is impersonating Chainsaw Man or Pochita is separating himself from Denji's body and roaming around in night hunting devil's. We know it's possible because that's how Denji defeated Makima. Finally Yuko revealed that the justice devil is at their school that explains why the class president was able to make a contract with it as well. Now the question is what does it want and why is it making contracts with students? I am thinking that the justice devil is going to be one of the major antagonist of this part of CSM. Overall chapter rating:-5/5. |

| I will admit that this was one of the better chapters. The relationship between Asa and Yuko has been the highlight of this part and better than anything this shit show has offered to this point. Asa is going to hate Chainsaw Man even more when she finds out how Yuko died but it's kind of funny that it is likely an imposter and not Denji. Good chapter overall but the series is still highly overrated. |

| 4/5 I half expected the Yuko resolution to go this way but Fujimoto actually somehow managed to one-up her character resolution neatly than I expected. I'm not as disjointed by her death, which is weird because i would've been a few fair chapters ago but it is over-shadowed by the imposter at the end which is understandable but RIP Yuko, you never get tired of saying RIP in CSM, do you? Yuko reveals to us that she was indeed taken over by this overwhelming sense of justice because of her contract with justice and everything that transpired happened was her fault. Fujimoto then ties off the goodbye with the same shoe motif back in chapter 100, which was again a neat send-off. They both rejoice while thinking of all the horrible things they've done. It feels odd but they're both odd people in the eyes of their peers which is why the mutual sentiment feels oddly perfect. I have to give it to Fujimoto for this one. Why does the Fujimoto keep showing the girl with the freckles? I still stand by the theory that she could be possessed by the newly introduced horsemen or its Fujimoto just f**king with our brain!! Regarding the imposter at the end. The most realistic outcome is that someone made a contract with the Justice Devil to "become like Chainsaw Man." This would also fit with what Yuko said about their being more justice devil contract holders in the school. But then again, there are too many possibilities and Fujimoto could take this in any direction. Birds, eggs and Yuko hanging upside down like a headless chicken in, yup, it's Bucky's master plan from here on out fellas xD but jokes aside, this is a real return to form after some stale drab chapters. The cliffhangers don't stop |
