lewis creature writes "help" on the wall. and by the end even said "kate" when he saw the butterfly necklace he brought with him on the trip. but he's going around eating all the food and so the crew thinks it's best to euthanize him; also so that a new lewis can be printed to help with terraforming the new planet

we also learn that AI is the reason that humans had to leave earth. and that's why there is no AI on their ship...

the moral dilemma continues
