I love the isekai genre but also was extremely apprehensive as to if a anime about a book worm could be something I'd like. And then I watched all 3 seasons back to back. Not your traditional isekai but it's got its own shine. You do at points have some OP Mc points though not often but still shows she is a badass. Alot of technological advancement almost like a book based Dr stone. I Really enjoyed it

As title suggests, she is a hardcore bookworm, her top priority is to read some books and sate her addiction.
She ends up in medieval themed fantasy world with knowledge from past life.
She has her own goals (books), that drive her and plot forward. She makes mistakes sometimes, her fixation on books sometimes bites her in the ass and her frail body is a serious impairment at times.
Over times, she learns that there are things more important than books.

Overall, I think she is well fleshed, compelling character, that we totally root for.
IMO this is one of the best isekai out there and you should totally watch it.

As other people already pointed out, the mc is truly just a book loving nerd of sorts, but the anime itself, in my opinion, is a pleasure to watch. If you enjoy a somewhat slower more story focused anime with an extensive plot, then this is a good one to watch. Again, just my opinion. 😊

I went in without high expectations, just wanted something light and easy to watch before bed. I ended up binging all of the seasons within a couple weeks, it totally surpassed my expectations. It’s wholesome, entertaining, and actually kinda educational at times when they get into the history/mechanics of book making. I would recommend it :)

Decent idea but way too slow pacing wise and the comedy didn’t hit at all for me

For me it was a waste of time and it feels more like it's aimed at girls and young women. I don't mind female protagonists, but the plot and situations explored in this anime were putting me to sleep. Also the main character is a Mary Sue - she's too much of a genius/prodigy, everyone likes her and helps her, everything works out for her with little effort, the plot is predictable and there is no chance of her failing in anything she attempts. The fact that it was created by a female author/novelist is a giveaway enough about who the target audience is.

Not all manga/anime by female authors are aimed at girl/young women audience, Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo and Pandora Hearts are good examples of that.

If you like shoujo and that kind of stuff, you will like it, because there is a lot of talk about boring stuff like feelings and stuff and less action and deeds. I'm not talking about combat, but events, because very little happens in this anime.
