| I've tried to save alot of money to being able to make a short vacation trip to China and Japan but private stuff circumstances and expenses which couldn't be avoided, inflation, war, clownvid and whatever the fuck will happen in near future made me lose those saved money. Most likely in the span of next 2-5 years I won't be even able to do that or even think about such possibility, so yeah, let's say that I am not pissed/angry of that. |

| I have the money now but trying to find someone else to go is pretty difficult too. I want to go for a couple of months without doing the usual tourist thing of staying in a hotel. Someone posted that they want to go to Italy, I have done that and stayed with an italians mates parents for 2 weeks and it was great. The dinners were so big I only ate once a day. I'd rather have the local experience in Japan too. |

| It's definitely a place I plan on going to at some point in my life. Japan's always been a country I hold strong interest in even before I got into anime for it's culture and how advanced it is when it comes to technology compared to a lot of other areas. But first, I'mma have to get over my aerophobia before that trip ever happens, lol. |
| I've been twice, Akihabara was a fucking disappointment and Hiroshima is my favourite place so far there, really chill prefecture to be in Also I learnt that I had train sickness in Japan since Malta has no train system (felt like necking it like an hour in riding on the Shinkansen tbh) Apart from that Kyoto was a really beautiful place (especially Nara!); if you're interested in historical sites I'd 100% recommend going to Kyoto and spending a few days there it's just amazing and mindblowing And if you're interested in arcades while in Tokyo, go to Ikebukuro or Shinjuku, they're the best quality machines I've seen there (no matter what don't do Akihabara machines they're almost non responsive) I want to go to Okinawa next time I go |

| The truth about going to Japan is that you'll need at least a year worth of free time and unlimited amount of money in order to explore enough of it and say that you've really seen Japan, LOL. I've been here for years and have yet to see Kyoto, Okinawa, and Hokkaido, and there are numerous other less popular places in the country that are on my list as well. A week-long trip will cost you a fortune, feel incredibly rushed, and you'll still barely get to see anything. If you are young, love Japan, and have $5,000 that you are not sure how to spend, it's better to sign up for something like a university exchange program, apply for a student/work visa, or at the very least try to find a host family/friend where you can stay. |

| I was going to go in the Summer of 2020 with one of my moms, but for obvious reasons that didn't work out. Now we're aiming for several years in the future, but not before we go to Europe first. I do plan on living there at least part time since I want to work at an embassy and do some translation work on the side. |
