Great chapter. The panels seen are masterful. Seeing Guts and the Sword hes been carrying for years fall to the ground had so much deep meaning behind it. Hope the pacing for Guts reaction to the events occurring is a bit faster since the pacing is getting a bit slow.

Loved the pacing of this chapter. The end with dragonslayer was so depressing.

Bonfire of dreams’ panel made this chapter an automatic 5/5

Amazing chapter. After all these years guts is still getting development as a character. This is a major turning point for his character.

Also I loved the metaphor of casca indirectly being guts sword

All these years, all guts had was his sword... But now that has failed him. What can he rely on now? I'm hoping Guts will show this incredible resilience that he is known for. This is the turning point.

That...

That was beautiful...

Guts' internal monologue, now starting to question and feel betrayed by his eternal companion... His sword... Absolutely sublime.

All the praise to Studio Gaga and Mori-sensei.

Next chapter until December... Travesty, will keep struggling myself on my own path so I can keep witnessing this greatness.

Cheers to all.

Last fee pages were nothing but Peak! This chapter was a easy 5/5!
I think since Berserk started again, this chapter is what lqst 5 chaoters were missing. Paneling, pacing, art & emotional feeling everyday in this chapter same as those chapter written by Kentaro Miura. It felt that this chapter was drawn by Kentaro Miura! Amazing!

Could not have asked for any more from this chapter, amazing art, especially that recreation of the golden age panels. Everything felt natural in this chapter, a cumulation of all that gaga and Mori-sensei have been mastering. I hope to see this quality for the rest of the series!

Great chapter! Best from the new team and Mori so far. Farnese and Guts both in doldrums. The first one was easily turned around but Guts is going to require a lot of work from Schierke.
I’m happy that Mona survived and seems to be coming along for a ride.

I got emotional over a damn sword...

This is easily the best chapter yet, in terms of delivering the same strong emotions as Miura would in a situation like this. The paneling was perfect as well.

The art in this chapter is really amazing! Seriously that shot of the berserker armor is hella peak. It's interesting to see everywhere reeling after what happened on the island. I'm very glad Puck and Ivearea are ok though hopefully someone can explain later why they are still in the mortal realm. Maybe they chose to stay? or made some sort of magical connection to the group that kept them? But Man I wish we just got a little more of Guts thinking on his lose, it's not really much more that what we got before so I was hope we finally get to see more inside his thoughts. I guess we'll just have to wait till December to see where it goes!

I was wondering if this was a flashback because Puck was back. Yet nope it it isnt! Guts feeling like he has nothing to rely on anymore, not even his strength is a big bummer. I hope his comrades can cheer him up.

Damn, this was devastating. Guts and his sword are a rather deep plot point in his character arc for the longest time, everso subtly addressed again and again, but in a long while not this explicitly.

Theorist will have a field day speculating where is his next development going.

Stellar chapter, I love when we get slow burner chapters such as this to let us live a bit the moment on how fucked the situation is.

5/5, Team Berk still pouring their heart and soul in these chapters. Beautiful color spread we got, too.

Holy shit the artwork this time is insane, it's exactly how it was when Kentaro Miura was doing it and glad that we didn't lose puck but at the same time it's sad and depressing to see Guts lose all hope and got broken :(
Hopefully we might get to see a new weapon since the the dragon slayer could even scratch Griffith against his demonic power but still it would be impossible to imagine Guts without his dragon slayer so I hope they keep it forever

that's right, i would gladly accept it if the art wasn't that detailed/good but we get 10-15 more pages.

Aftermath of the disaster caused by Griffith. Really sad view.

Morda has returned! But more importantly, Puck and Ivalera did not disappear and are alive! So after all the only magic creatures affected by the disaster from before were those of them who stayed on the island's ground. Everyone who was away back then was rather safe.

I loved the chapter's art. It truly corresponded with general atmosphere of despair.

Another thing I found as great was realistic depiction (another one) of Guts completely resigned and defeated. I felt bad for Guts, of course; but I am type of reader who really appreciates realism, whether we are talking about fantasy setting or not.

After short hiatus, next chapter will be out in December 2022.

Really great chapter. Glad to see Guts is still being developed well as a character because I was a bit nervous that this new team wouldn't be able to do that well. I am a little confused how Puck and Ivalera are still there though.

Well, good thing each individual was free to choose between retreating to the Fae realm or staying. We still have Puck and Ivalera, yay! And I hope Molda will stay with the group.

And Guts is in a awful place mentally again. Which was bound to happen.

This chapter pretty much dispelled the few doubts I still had about the series in regards to characterization and dialogue, the series absolutly is in the bets hands it possibly could in a post miura world.

So Puck didn't die... last chapter was very misleading.

That being said, it was nice to see Guts introverted. Though, it seems he's less likely to go "berserk" now more than ever.

These chapters feel really short for being a monthly release.

The theory is he’s bound to the Physical Realm by Guts at this point, unlike the other Astrals on Elfhelm bound by the Spirit Tree.
