It was really fun. I liked how realistic the fact was that Hitori's superb solo guitar playing doesn't mean that she would be good in band playing. Despite how similar these things are, there is a big difference in the required skills. And only experience can make up for the difference.

Great premiere! Bocchi is very relatable, and the portrayal of her social anxiety is spot on!

The comedy works very well, both thanks to the sharp writing and the sleek animation.

I'm looking forward to the following episodes. ^_^

Very good episode, I see a lot of her (Hitori) in me...the not making eye contact with someone, trying to connect with another person (friendship) or not being part of a club...the social anxiety is pretty hard but I like that she is trying, it's a good step to overcome or cope with it.
I didn't expect the joke about killing himself at the concert to entertain the audience hahaha

Bocchi the Rock! episode one is great, and gets straight to the point. All character introductions are interesting, making the characters much more memorable. It also, has a sense of realism to it while still being fun.

As someone who is a guitarist, and has also had issues with coming out of their shell, I can greatly emphasize with Bocchi. Her struggles feel real and while they are often protrayed in a comedic light, they at least aren't written just as some "moe" archetype.

Also she has a guitar that literally looks like my dream guitar soo bonus points for that.
