| Fantastic episode. Both 2-D and 3-D animation styles were a delight to watch, opening is probably the most unique one we've gotten this year so far. Also, the team behind the sound design deserves an applause, made the entire ep so much more atmospheric. |

| Literal perfection. The colours are relatively muted, giving it a sense of realism that fits well with the insane amount of detail in every area of the art design. The voice acting is great, but I can't say too much since most of the characters aren't here yet. Chainsaw Man is often absolutely insane, but the reason it has garnered so much praise is it's ability to mix it's tragic and heartfelt emotional core with a sense of insanity and unpredictability. The animation looks absolutely fantastic, and it perfectly skims the line between being expressive and being subtle. The 2D animation is some of the finest I've seen all year, from regular movements of the Zombies chasing Denji with a to the This is one of the instances where CGI is used to great effect as isn't used as a mere replacement of 2D animation, but as a way to give the characters more detailed animations, e.g. Denji manically slicing through Zombies as he laughs. It is tragic, hilarious, insane and heartfelt. This is everything I wanted from a Chainsaw Man adaptation. Also, that opening is fucking amazing, it's absolutely insane and I love it. |

| Well it was a good start, but i was not that hyped as i though i would after watching the episode. But i more or less know of the crazy stuff that will happen as the anime continues so i am looking foward to it. |

| I'm impressed, I really liked OP and ED and the animation aswell, there were some times that CGI was a little bit off for me but nothing really important. Can't wait to see all the endings |

| MAPPA, man u did it. Great Job. Just watched the 1st ep and yeah it was F*cking Bombastic. The animation was top-tier. The 3d CG scenes were OKK. It didn't affect much but it was alright, no complaint after such hard work done by the animators. Songs were decent. Fight scenes were amazing. Solid 9.5/10, -0.5 for the 3d CG fight, i still couldn't bear it that much. |

| A great start to probably the most highly anticipated anime of the season next to Bleach. The visuals are great, CGI is more or less all right but I can live with it. I might have to give the OP some time to grow on me, but the ED was pretty good. Can't wait to see the other 11 they have in store. Man this is gonna be a great ride. Oh, and Makima's voice sounds just fine. Jesus, the people bitching about it are probably just mad that her voice doesn't turn them on as much as they would like it to. |
