| does anyone have recommendations for historical adventure manga or anime? manga preferably but all recommendations are welcome. if the characters travel across lands or kingdoms, that would be great. something that elicits a similar atmosphere to the song: "sand dream" by revo and yuki kaijura. the setting doesn't have to be strictly historical if the manga/anime already takes place in a contemporary time that does not have highly advanced scientific technology, rudimentary lifestyles, no skyscrapers, holograms, devices, modern fashion, etc. the more chapters, the better. i don't care how old it is or what score it has. i like a series that takes itself and its plot seriously as an adventure manga/anime. |
