A friend and I were debating whether or not most of Charlotte's high ratings come from Nao or not. Please help us out by taking the poll!

nah man this show was pretty alright but then turned dogshit. so yes all the high ratings come from her cause the show itself doesn't deserve its rating

I think that the fact that she is a somewhat popular character affects the rating of the anime, since the story is not exactly and the characters are quite boring, including her, but the anime is entertaining.

I thought the second half took a nosedive and somewhat undermines the vague theme of dealing with loss, so overall I did not like it, in fact I was sorta pissed at how much the writing took a nosedive

It was decent until the final episode.

I thought the ending was good, I prefer that they didn’t stretch the last episode into an arc! Very efficient imo, and they conveyed all the emotion that they needed to!!

I literally enjoyed this anime so much. I even watched it a second time with my boyfriend. He’s watched several animes but even though that is the case, this was one of the few he didn’t know about til I showed him lol.
He even liked it. ^^

This was my first anime ever. I don't remember much from it but I guess it was good enough for me to continue watching the medium. I vaguely remember hating Nao tho lmao

I mostly enjoyed it because the show had the balls to let his sister die and not survive bc of some bs. Also very dissapointed when she was alive again. Didnt care about Nao at all

Nao was cool and all but what made Charlotte a great one to me was honestly just the plot. It’s controversial but I enjoy the plot wholeheartedly. Especially the parts where we see Yuu turn crooked in the middle and end of the series. It shows how solitude and circumstance can bring someone into insanity especially someone with a still developing brain. So to answer your question no, Nao is not the reason why I enjoy the anime, rather she’s a solid character that adds on to the plot.
