I typically only watch episodes that I know will be important in terms of plot or just great animation. Sometimes I'll skip around a less-than-interesting episode and only watch a few minutes of those out of curiosity.

I caught up with the anime and then I caught up to the manga though I was switching back and forth between anime and manga while catching up and now I'm a weekly reader though j do watch new eps after a few of them are out

I watch the anime weekly, for the manga though I watch every new chapter's "reviews" but I read them when I feel like it, let's say 5 chapters at once and then a little break. For example I didn't read ch 1057 to 1061 weekly, and I read them yesterday. But I watched a bunch of reviews and I know what's going on🐐Let's say that every Sunday I wake up with the latest episode❤️

one piece anime pacing is bad and ruins everything. So I have caught upto manga and read it weekly and enjoy anime adaptation. I think this is the best way to enjoy one piece. But I still miss the thrill of anime.

For now, I'm treating One Piece more like a seasonal thing and catching up every 1-3 months depending on the mood. It's easy to get cynical & impatient with weekly waits whereas taking too much time off can dull the immersion when returning.
