| Damn, this almost felt like an episode finale. Tons of action from this episode including all the relevant cast, Ichigo, and these so-called alien invaders. Felt kinda rushed though. I mean, I wish I could've gotten more invested into the story or plot at this particular point. Still, this was quite an intense episode. |

| Given how much the reboot can only touch up till a certain section of the original manga, I guess this is just it. When the giant coccoon is still residing over Tokyo Tower, the presence of Mew Aqua is more important, but without the Mew Mews' strongest member, it's almost impossible to rally the group together. It's the same story for the aliens to have their brethren awake on Earth, and if they succeed, Earth will be reformed under their rule. Ichigo and Ryo's banter is a moment in the manga, and now that she's back as a human, she's ready to do battle and come to save the Mew Mews. It's showtime for Ichigo, and the 5 girls can finally work together to put off the aliens. If this is all they have, so be it. |

| I'm really glad about all the fighting we got to see the girls do here! Having them all do their stock-animation and then just have them going at it after that was really neat. As I said last week though, I've never been a fan of the sub-plot that is "Ichigo turns into cat and goes on wacky adventures" because it doesn't really do anything to the overarching story. All it does is confirming the already established "love triangle" that I've always found pointless and boring. The animation also felt more rushed in this episode than we've seen in a while, but I'm kinda hoping that they rushed this to give us better quality for the final episode. I REALLY hope it gets renewed for a second season though, they can't leave it here!! Exited and scared for the final episode~! |
| The 2002 Tokyo Mew Mew adaptation is not as great as you remember it being. |

| I have two questions. Are we going to pretend we didn't see an MC almost get raped by a horny cat? And second, who should Ichigo's main love interest really be? This blond is written much deeper than that stereotypical bishonen. |

Well, I understand that shoujo can be a good match for shonen harems in terms of "everybody wants to fuck an MC", but I feel like Aoyama's subplot just doesn't have any special drama or meaning other than Ichigo personally likes him. |

| Good episode in term of Story. But sad the animation is so poor once again. |
| Nice that she finally figured out it's kiss-based. Ichigo seems to have gotten stronger between their last battle and now. Tart and Bu Ling thankfully still have the same cute bond. I hope the finale lands well. |

| The aliens reasons and are goal are weird but then again this is just an average anime so inconsistencies are expected |
| I like how this episode goes. I still remember the original anime, but I can't compare the 2 adaptions. |
