This anime has been talked about for a long and I want to watch it but I’ve heard there’s a lot of gore torture and rape. For those who watched it how were you able to handle all that gore and torture. Was it very graphic and disturbing?

I really liked it. Of course it's not a masterpiece but I was very entertained. Gory stuff isn't a problem for me usually and there was only a few very gory moments. I think I cried once and it was a very minor character death so there's that ig.

don't know about that, but either way there were barely any likeable characters. I can only think of two I genuinely like, and I get attached to characters VERY easily, so that says something.

I handled the gore just fine, I don’t think there was a lot of rape or if there was rape then it wasn’t really graphic. I just liked the show because I was sad whenever someone died. I felt like there wasn’t a ton of plot armor for once so I had no idea when someone would die and I liked that.

same thing, U watched cuz I wanted to see fights with gore, but AAUUUGGHHHHHH, the beginning was great then it started to fall off, shit was so boring they were talking about what they gonna eat for dinner for 3 episodes and I ain't even kidding, worts type of character development I've ever seen, deaths are gory tho so if u not prepared might the shocking, but it was so boring it took me 1 year to get courage to watch it again

the anime is an original story from episode 19 onwards, the ending has nothing to do with the manga, it's shit what they did.

It’s not good but I still enjoyed it. It’s not that gory either. At some points it’s really dumb and the writing is pretty poor imo.

I’d watch it! It was one of my first animes so I’m a bit biased, and as far as gore goes it wasn’t too bad, there were some gory parts but that’s to be expected considering what the anime is about—-

It’s not amazing but it’s still worth watching. I’d say unless an anime is god awful in every single way (like Promised Neverland S2) it’s worth watching just for the hell of it. The biggest problem with this anime is bad writing, but it still does have parts that are fun to watch.

Omg it’s so good! I do agree that the writing isn’t stellar and that there is quite a bit of gore, but there is no rape and it’s an epic show with some of the best fighting scenes I’ve ever seen and I love the character designs and team relationships they build together. I’ve seen 140+ animes and this one is easily in my top 10, so I totally recommend it!

if you've read any of the manga then don't bother with watching the anime as it's essentially cut off for any chances of another season and the anime is good in its own right but it's very different from the source material and basically a different story entirely

watch it! there is no rape, it is super gory tho. people are complaining about no season 2, but I like how it's actually a complete show, some unfortunate animes set up for another season but never actually got it.
the Manga readers insist the Manga is better, who knows, maybe it is, but I've also heard the anime is so different it's essentially it's own story.
I really liked it, hope you do too :)

I hated this show when I watched it, so I would vote no. The show is centered around character death, and it does it very poorly. It's impossible to feel bad about anyone dying because it happens so frequently, and the characters aren't all that likeable or memorable. It's a little violent, yes, but not MK fatality tier or anything.
