| Ruby's dream sequence of her memories with Weiss, and this is indicative of the Nightmare slowly taking over her that thanks to the sword embedded on the train, has been rescued out of trouble, at least for now. Weiss's music theme of "Mirror, Mirror (White Trailer)" certainly is an embodiment of her lonely state, while Yang and Blake traverse through the Nightmare Frimm's dream outside the locked Ice Queendom to find another relic. To save Weiss out from her predicament, the Company train goes one step further to reaching the Schnee palace, but is stopped by Negative Weiss and her henchmen. And in the midst of all the chaos, the White Fang renders its assistance thanks to Blake and Yang, which the former wants to settle the long-standing feud between humans and Faunus. Feels like the end...feels like not. |

| Not a bad idea by Jaune to use that sword to free Ruby from the dream. Gotta wonder if the reason Mirror Mirror was sung at such a slow pace was because the VA wasn't able to pronounce it well enough at normal pace lol. |
| Not going to lie I enjoyed Pyrraha's version of Mirror Mirror better. But good effort Weiss. Honestly what's happening, Ruby being in another dream was supposed to be super bad, but then it gets resolved in like a couple minutes. She somehow receives advice from Weiss in her dream's dream, about how to approach Nega Weiss. What is happening at this point everything is moving so fast. Is the next episode going to be our last for this dream world? I hope it is. Love the end credit art though, White Fang Blake is super dope. |
| Wow, they brought Ruby out of the dream in the dream fast given that was last episode's cliffhanger. Also, since I didn't join in past episodes' discussions, I'm loving the dreamscape outfits! Blake's White Fang vibe looks cool ^^ |

Honestly, my favorite part of the episode might have been the mini-Weiss chorus cheering on Jaune as he lifted Ruby up to the sword. Adorable. It has definitely been extremely prolonged, but honestly, I still find myself surprised how quickly the episodes go by for me. I realize that it extremely subjective, and I was not extremely familiar with the original, but I cannot help but feel this anime is a bit underrated. |

| The animation is bad, but bearable. I thought Ruby's dream was going to be a twist, but turns out it's a short segment. Jaune's sword can be wielded by someone else? Why not have Ruby or Yang or Blake to carry it for him? Since you know, they aren't so weak. |

| At this point my only hope that this show does not reflect the overall crisis Shaft has been into for last 3 years, but something tells me my hopes are false. It's not that horrible, it just feels awkward to watch |

| Am I the only one who thinks making the Japanese VA of Weiss sing in English was a weird idea? I kind of feel like it did the VA's singing a disservice. |

| Honestly, I was hoping that Ruby portion was going to be more significant and really shake things up, but then it was solved instantly. I don't think the anime has been bad or anything. I liked the first 2 episodes the most (they are better than the original), but things have kinda just been going a bit down hill from there. Even the animated fighting sequences took a nose dive compared to the first few eps. Hopefully things pick back up and get more interesting. |
