| Only four more episodes till this trash ends. Also, every episode the super poppy, cheerful ED becomes more and more out of place. It makes it even harder to take the show seriously. |

I think that is a good theory but the mom wasn't killed, she was possessed?? If you check the whole story none has been possessed; all of them made deals, so Shu's mom made a deal too with the demon. Shu's dad was aware of that because he blew the whole place. Following that order of ideas, Asmodeus' identity is the most ridiculous thing this series has delivered. If they do not explain this entire mess in a better and clever way, the series score will keep dropping because what we are doing is making assumptions that may be false. |

| Sharon riding in on that motorcycle was so badarse, Kisara's animation was also sick. Feels pretty weird that Miles' daughter wasn't ever shown before the flashbacks in this episode, especially when saving her is his entire motivation. Why not have a couple of scenes in earlier episodes showing their relationship in the present? Shu's mum being possessed by Asmodeus and killing Shu's Dad does feel like a dumb twist with no set-up at all, which just opens up more plotholes like: if he knew his wife was possessed and was planning to blow her up in the mine, why didn't he tell anyone else like AAA in case he failed? Asmodeus' possession being passed from host to host is an interesting concept for the final boss though, and I'm sure Shu's sister will be reappearing in the present soon, let's hope the show can stick the landing! |
| This was a sad but necessary episode. Getting to see what happened to Shu’s family was heartbreaking and Shu’s foster father still genuinely loved him. Man, I don’t see how this series will have a happy ending. I’m not watching Lycoris Recoil but I have a feeling that both of these A-1 Originals will end in similar fashion |

According to the preview the next episode seems to show more of asmodeus so that's good. But yea although it doesn't have been clarified it can be assumed that the mother either made a deal with asmodeus like it was the case with every other demon yet or the demon just forcefully possessed her or it really is an exceptional case cause of it being some kind of primordial demon with special abilities. Cause somehow I don't get why the mother would make a contract which includes giving birth to a hybrid child and having to kill the rest of her family, well could also be she was fooled kinda like miles who thought that his deed was done and wham he finds out that he has to make more demonically possessed and betraying shuu in the process. It's also weird that asmodeus was nowhere to be seen in the present as miles visited the mine, could be the demon transformed into the mysterious spear and ofc there's also the letter miles received which said 'I remain in your consciousness'. Although a final boss is nice but I hope asmodeus abilities aren't limitless or that it is immortal or some shit |
| Got more information about Miles and Shuu's families past. Found out that Shuu's mom is a demon and the mastermind also known as asmodeus. Shuu also had to kill his foster father Miles, which is a big rip for Shuu. |

| Damn they're going strong with these revelations regarding Miles being linked to Shuu's mother since it looks like she was the villain Asmodeus all that time, and Shuu's sister being half demon half human, and that's actually his father that wanted to counter that and activated the explosion :o |

| Just a sad Saturday, another anime episode that had me feeling emotional. This anime is has some really good character development and makes them have to make tough choices. One of my favorites this summer for sure! |

| I was expecting for all this to be no more than "surprise it was this guy all along!" and then proceed to have a battle and then kill him. I was not expecting for him to have a tragic and intricate backstory, deeply intertwined with Shu's past. |

| Some super messed up family Shu had... a mother who had connections with the super demon Asmodeus, a father who albeit knowing a good part of it(I guess) just waited for the time so that he can explode the whole family down, and a half human-half demon sister. Decently done episode for once. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Shuu is an absolute basket case. For someone who allegedly concerns himself about the welfare of others, he didn't think much about that prison guard when he helped Sharon in her jailbreak, nor does he seem to have any consideration for the prospect of Sharon now continuing her demon extermination effort on Kisara, which she still has visible interest in. |

| Mindblowned. I was not prepared for quite a good episode as this, episode 8 was a nice build-up and then this one delivered like CRAZY. A lot of things are making more sense now, honestly, this was some fine writing right here. This has me wondering why this anime has such a low score, one would think they will have to fuck up major with the final episodes to ECLIPSE how amazing the culmination of this episode was merging everything up to now. I m going to be conservative and give it a 9/10, instead of a 10/10, it still wasn't perfect, there is no foreshadowing to the twist, but I'm quite impressed, never thought the anime would reach such a high. |
