They really made Shalltear a legit badass this season, not that it's a surprise at this point.

Also for a Frost Dragon character, he sure possesses a lot of human intellect, even if some of their choices are irrational.

Frost Dragon came in like a boss but went out like a bozo, classic Overlord.

Shalltear getting that good treatment this season though, she is reaching new levels of badassery.

Nothing much else to say apart from that though, the episode was as enjoyable as ever although I am definitely curious to see what happens in next weeks episode.

The Quagoa sure are prepared for all invasion and tactics with the Frost Dragons in defence against the dwarves, but when it comes to Ainz, there just ain't any equal.

Surprisingly, the Frost Dragons are just like any other species in general, and for the Frost Dragon Clan Lord Olasird'arc, having his son Hejinmal be out to scout out the enemy's power, most certainly seeing the elder lich is much of a surprise given his cowardly tendency...and with one (almost) Grasp Heart, it's too easy but a hilarious subjugation of submission, just like a happy pet.

Onwards to the Frost Dragon City, and Ainz's presence easily overwhelms Olasird'arc and the other Frost Dragons to open up wealth unimaginable, while confirming that everyone else's submission to Ainz's authority that'll be handled by both Aura and Shalltear. It's clear that the Quagoa will not submit, and what befalls them is death until 10,000 remain (4k males, 4k females, 2k children), only folly sets their discerning spirit into despair to unwittingly waste their numbers away.

The dwarves got back their royal kingdom, and Ainz's domination of the world leaps one step forward. And Demiurge as usual, the misunderstanding game continues.

This tells us one thing: DO NOT eff around with Ainz, the merciful Sorcerer King.

There is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing Ains just wipe the smirks off the faces of arrogant people. Loved how he just casually had the dragon king’s heart in his hand lmao

Shalltear in the episode. Easy 5/5

I wish more bipedal furry creatures appeared in anime, even if as antagonists. Love em, they're cute and cuddly. There's a reason Pokémon was so successful.

The great Ains can never make a mistake, everything he does is meaningful or that's that they always think. Shalltear made a bloodbath of those Quagoas and Ains made the dragons submit to him by grasping their hearts, literally.

They're pacing things up a bit, yeah, but this episode is just too rushed, so much so that I feel like I'm listening to a 24mins chant. Also I don't know who the VA of those Quagoa and Dragons are, but they sound newbie AF. Hell, this episode doesn't have the hype that the LN has, what it has is the CGI from Season 3, but it moves faster, and is much worse.

This ep is maybe the best one yet. All the budget saving before clearly led to this. Even all those Quagao looked well animated.

10.000 year plan!

I wonder if the clan lord has some sort of species control skill the way he send wave after wave

Shalltear is officially a loyal dog confirmed.

I'm getting tired of annoying Shalltear stealing the screentime that should have belonged to Albedo lol. Although gotta admit, her standing on a pile of corpses looked pretty badass.
Also I wish there was an actual fight with dragons... Them surrendering in a matter of seconds felt too rushed imo

Everyone overestimating Ainz just never gets old, never. Really one of those things you just can't get tired off seeing again and again lol. Ruthless Shalltear was a treat too.

Dragon part went much faster than I expected. There was no doubt that Ainz is stronger, but somehow I thought it will be dragged out or that he will try to talk it through... instead he was disappointed with low number of dragon corpses. I love it.

Still, the best Grasp Heart user this episode was Shalltear. She sure grasped mine!

I don't know if this is normal compared to the novel, but I felt that this episode was extremely rushed, the pace was extremely weird : It seemed like the characters never had time to talk. I love Overlord but this episode was one of the worst i have seen in term of pace in the Overlord series

You gotta be kidding me, how was this episode longer than 20 minutes? Fucking love it. Well, it was pretty anticlimatic how it ended though. The dragons had no power in front of Ainz and he singlehandely one-shot all of them with ease. Got two clans under his control and is even planning ten thousand years ahead.

Ainz came across as more ruthless in this episode than I can remember from the light novels. The animation for Shalltear's destruction of the Quagoa was pretty awesome and definitely how I pictured it from the books!

Hejinmal seems like the intellectual type of dragon, and not the warrior kind since he has so many books in his room. Those ones always survive since they aren’t stupid enough to fight for their pride against indomitable power.

The bit between Ainz, Aura, and Shalltear about peeing themselves in happiness was quite funny ngl.

With all the gold hoarded in the castle, Hejinmal’s father would’ve been quite the friend with the old Fafnir.

Aura backing up Ainz was quite funny as well, and it was nice to see Ainz realize his mistake on his own.
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.

I think that's probably a good guess - nicely leading into the movie covering vols. 12 and 13.

As everyone else has said, the episode finished in a flash. A sure sign of watching something great

Another awesome and hilarious episode.

The dragons will never know how much they owe their survival to Hejinmal

What a clever boy to understand the time to bow down.

Not so clever the Quagoa who paid the price with a brutal cull by Shalltear

This season is truly peak Overlord.

There were CGI Quagoa in this episode but nothing too atrocious and looked fine when focused on. I hope the 10000-yr joke somehow spreads in Nazarick.
