| Soul Society: The Rescue Arc starts at episode 42. I think that is very arbitrary and there should not be a distinction made. The whole stretch of Soul Society episodes should be one chunk. |

| As a Bleach fan myself, I still say that Soul Society arc is still the best arc in the entire series. it's way more intense than any other arcs ^.^ and this is the first time I've heard soul society arc is split into two like that, I always think the arc starts from when they entered dangai via Urahara's house until after Ukitake gave the substitute shinigami badge to Ichigo. |

| I really like later arcs too but without a doubt the best or at least most exciting arcs are the Soul Society: Sneak Entry and Rescue Arcs. |

| typically in a conversation, i'd just state the arrancar/hueco mundo arc as a catch all but it'd be some of the arrancar: fierce fight arc's episodes specifically for me. |
