Hi all, i've just finished season 1, really enjoyed it but heard very bad stuff about season 2. Is it still worth checking out?

First anime i watched in 1.5x speed. The second half had some decent episodes but first 6 episodes were a train wreck

it's still a good watch, but when even the creator says themselves that the source material in season 2 is shit it puts into perspective that season 2 isn't too bad

If you "really enjoyed" the first season you could find decent the second season. But generally it is totally a waste of time

i'm a LN reader and that's normal. just a not very good arc. s3 will be better than first if they follow the source material

If you’re a big fan of the show I’d say it’s worth it in hopes that season 3 is better. I thought this season was much more cliche and uninteresting than the first so if you have no patience for that kind of thing I wouldn’t recommend it.

Second season of SH, in my opinion, was enjoyable. Yet, I still want to mention that it isn’t as good as the first mainly because the first half of the season which is the spirit turtle arc is lame and boring at parts. The second half of season 2, on the other hand, was quite good. In retrospect I might as well give the second part of season 2 (ep 7-end) an 8 or even a 9.

I honestly think it is worth a watch regardless if you’re still interested in continuing the anime. Like most people have already mentioned though, the first half is not really that good, but the second half picks back up. Though definitely not as good as first season due to pacing.

Skip S2 1-5, watch the last half of 6, 7-12 are alright. Not worth the wait we all had to endure.

I enjoyed the first season, but the second season had me repeatedly checking how much time each episode had left. Forgetable. There are just way better options for isekei and fantasy.

No. The manga will probably give you a better experience. The Animation sucks, audio sucks, CG sucks, it's very bad when compared to season 1. You can watch it if you only want the plot and can't read the manga.
