| Next Chapter on 9/9. Overall a masterful chapter. Skull Knight finally comes back. Seeing the panel of Guts made me cry so hard. Griffith is too strong and nobody but Skull knight can help first by taking out Zodd then stoppign Griffith.I hope Farneese and Scherieke fight Griffith and delay him for Guts to fight him and get Casca. It's literary the end of conviction all over again. Wish Isidro could've done more than watch with the others. Love how the paneling is done now it feels like Conviction now more than Fantasia. And love how Casca and Guts and especially Skull Knight and even Isidro were drawn. Hope Guts is okay after what has happend. Scared something happend to Farneese and Scherieke cause of Roderick. |

| Still waiting for Casca to fucking do something man. Since Conviction arc, she's been the damsel in distress. First the goal was to save Casca after her abduction, then to recover her memories and sanity. There's got to be more here, and I'd hate to see her keep a passive role through all this. I know it's too early, but I am impatient. It will be interesting to see Griffith arrive back in Falconia. And more importantly, how Guts and co. will escape the shitstorm that has befallen Elfhelm. I really liked the panel of Guts' helpless expression, extending his hand toward Casca. I was pleasantly surprised to see more dialogue in this chapter. I thought Mori was avoiding dialogue because he wouldn't bother fleshing anything out, including dialogue. But I am happy to be proved wrong. |

| Everything is going wrong and Skull Knight reveals that the only reason it was a paradise, was because those dark corrupted souls were fueling it. It was not a paradise but more like a honeypot! Guts definitely will need another power up after this. But I'm more worried about what the recoil of this will be. Will they blame guts for attracting griffith? Or will they be understanding of causality. |

| As much as I love Berserk, I feel there hasn't been much progress these past few chapters. Almost nothing happened this chapter either. Not sure how confident I am in Studio Gaga. |
| As some wise villain once said:never provoke a hero who has retired. Guts was ready to live on the island and settle down, but nope. Not only did Griffith took casca again but he also destroyed the island and killed countless new good people who Guts owes. His unmaking will start from here. |
