| according to animeplus they're currently they're ranked #102 on my list of favorite studios, with a mean score of 5.89. But those stats don't really mean much, I've only seen a total of 20 A-1 studios titles. The highest rating I gave was a 7. There's a handful of stuff by them on my PTW and none of them looks all that special. Like most anime studios, they don't really have a particular style so I feel no attachment to them as an entity. |

| I liked 3 or 4 adaptations of theirs and even then they weren't action focused. But there's just too many adaptations I didn't like or care about. Their biggest offender was Gate. That cgi dragon and the fight looked like something out of a comedy. Not to mention the horrible artstyle choice/censorship in general. I'm enjoying LyRe so far outside the shit writing but yeah wouldn't call them the best. |

| The first season specially the first arc of SAO is good, but the rest (including that new alicization or however it's spelled_ are boring. I don't know about 86 but people praise it. Lycoris Recoil is good, but the show is carried by the 2 girls so hard and also its animation. So no. A-1 is not the future of animation. |

| Once I was listening to a podcast about 86 and the host said something that I completely agree with, he said that A-1 Picture reached an above-average quality standard. A-1's anime might lack writing quality as some people pointed out here, which I think might be a source problem cause they did an excellent job with Shigatsu and Kaguya-Sama, but in terms of animation, soundtrack and directing they are always above average. I don't consider it to be in the top 3 though. |

| I don't think so. They have well directed works like Space Brothers (which is now my favorite), Demi-chan, IdolMaster and Erased. Animation tho, not really. For me their best looking shows are Grimgar & YLiA. I liked Grimgar but didn't liked YLiA. They make good looking Anime but not really the best in that. If we're only talking about Animation; ufotable, Kyoni, Madhouse & bones are much better than A1. |
