| As the subject line says. I haven't watched season 1 of MiA since it first aired, and I want catch up and watch Dawn of the Deep Soul and then start season 2. But I'd really like to rewatch everything from season 1. Should I actually watch the episodes or go for the recap movies? Is there anything cut out of the movies? |
| if you've watched the series already then watch the movies. that's what i did, and the movies recapped the series pretty well, including all of the important parts. since it is a movie it makes it easier to binge too |

| Despite it making no big difference in time or content or whatever... (I don't really know. Seems to me a recap would cut scenes. Otherwise why is it called a Recap...) Why is everybody just trying to speedrun their Anime nowadays? o.O Why would you prefer a recap over the actual thing, if you really wanna enjoy watching the Show? |

| If you want the full experience, then watching the show is probably better. Also, make sure you've seen Movie 3. Movie 3 takes place after Season 1 and Season 2 takes place after Movie 3. |

| i don't really recommend it for a first time watch just watch the 1st Season and the 3rd Movie if you really wanna enjoy it. |

| Thanks for all the responses everyone! To be clear for a few people who may have missed it in my original post, I have already watched the first season, but it's been a while and I was just pondering the best way to re-watch before delving into movie 3. I think I'm going to just watch the whole first season again since the recap movies don't seem to add much if anything, and I always watch movies in chunks over multiple days anyways, lol (I know, it's one of my most psychotic habits). Thanks for your help! |
