| Wow, what an amazing ending. All the threads and all the characters came together so wonderfully. The series got better and better as it went along. Awesome mecha combat, politics, great character drama, great season. Keen for the second. I only hope the OPs get better. The first seasons ops were pretty terrible 😂 |

| The anime at first had a certain rhythm, you know, Lelouch a high school student who is smart, blessed with a geass ability and trying to destroy Britannia out of vengeance while trying to keep his identity secret from the world and because he is smart, every plan he put will work. Not until when he start to lose the control of his gease and accidentally make euphemia commit the japanese massacre, now the series has become more interesting and been elevated to higher level of story-telling. I didn't watch the second season yet, but i am sure it will be more exciting that the first. |
| Imagine if the show permanently just ended like this. That'd be pretty messed up! I went into this with no grasp of what the show was gonna be like. So I've gotta say, exceeded all my expectations. Also the orange boy was very cool. |

| oh boy that was a wild last 2 episodes. Wasn't expecting the finale to be that intense, had me on the edge of my seat. I can't imagine having had to wait for a season 2 after that cliffhanger... I'm gonna go watch the next season right away |

| Ending the season on a cliffhanger to make you watch the rest... That's sly. Good thing I was already planning to watch the second season (though what I heard about it doesn't make me very eager). That was an enjoyable show, that's for sure, but the amount of conveniences, plot devices, underdeveloped characters and inconsistencies is pretty insane, which makes me very surprised since given how beloved it is, while not expecting a masterpiece I was still waiting for something much better. I'm not gonna go on a rant to list all my criticisms but I'm disappointed. However I still liked this show, it has its qualities. I especially like the battle between those two childhood friends with completely opposite ideals. It is very classic and could've been done better but it still works. I hope the second season can live up to its rating instead of the criticisms (very surprised to see the contrast between its score and what people say of it). |

| Wow that ending was intense. I knew it would end on a cliffhanger but damn. I was waiting for this. The twist of Suzaku finding out Zero is Lelouch and turning all that hate on Lelouch instead. Now they're true enemies. Reminds me a lot of Aldnoah Zero and how the rivalry in that builds up and how season 1 ends on a cliffhanger where the MCs are pointing guns at each other. Now season 2 will just be full-on war without slice of life. Can't wait to re-watch it. I only remember the ending so it'll be fun to experience it all again. |

| I feel so bad for the people who watched it when Code Geass aired. What a massive cliffhanger. Kururugi vs Lelouch, a 1vs1 gun battle to death. They found out about his identity. Well it's the end for him, that's what we all think. But he'll put it off and become a world leader for sure xD What an ending, splendid anime. A really enjoyable show.Lelouch became one of my favorite mc's and C.C's is waifu material. Oh also, fuck this plot armour Kururugi with the cat and Nani with her robot. |

| Holy shit that lesbian bitch Nina has been pissing me off for way too long. Can she pls just die? And god damn I want to slaughter Kururugi so badly. What an actual piece of shit loser. Well, now Zero's identitiy is exposed... season 2 should be interesting..... Its not a bad anime but the characters are so shit (ESPECIALLY KURURUGI) so Im not sure what I will rate it but prob 5-6/10 |

| Overall, the anime is overrated. Probably the main issue are the characters, they're pretty annoying and their ideology makes no sense. Everything after the festival episode is rushed, I think the anime should be a bit longer. It's funny how a joke created a mess in a short time but the situation could make more sense with a better writing. It went downhill after episode 21. I can't take Nino and the Orange dude seriously lol. The anime isn't shit anyways, i enjoyed a lot of episodes before ep 22 especially Mao episodes and Lelouch's first defeat....the conflict was fun. 6/10 for the anime. Edit: It's funny how Aldnoah.Zero literally copied this ending LOL. |

| Man I’m so glad that I can jump straight into season 2 would hate to wait after a cliffhanger like that! Some of the characters in this anime though. Nina needs to hurry and die in the middle of a ocean, Suzaku is annoying as hell like the cat and him have some special relationship? Great show overall but I must add the OST for ep 13-23 had the worst vocals I’ve heard in a Anime so far. 8/10 |

| That last scene was great! I think this season deserves a 7/10. While it was enjoyable, every character besides Lelouch and Kallen kinda bored me. Also that BS the writers pulled with Lelouch’s mistake in episode 22 was annoying. Off to the second season then, I love seeing Lelouch in action! |
| Very interesting way to end a whole season, I think that this was to be expected since Suzaku clearly knew what he as doing. I can only imagine the cliffhanger people must've felt when this came out and then having to wait more than a year for next season, This really was a very good season but definitely had some character development problems and cheesy moments thanks to questionable pacing decisions |

| this is why geass is one of the best shows ever ... the drama .. the stroylines .. the intertwining tales .. even the entertaining asspulls --- the return of Agent Orange .. Lelouch should have been taken care of Suzaku ,, poor Cornella knows nothing of Lu's mother death .. yes everything he's done til now has all been for nothing Lu has now sacrificed the trust of his whole clan as he betrays them .. the Black Knights are no more .. on to Season 2 |

| Lelouch revealed his identity to Kallen and Suzaku & a Cliffhanger end?? didn't expect but yeah a great and enjoyable S1... I am fascinated by Lelouch's character and his views, definitely a great MC. 9/10 btw that OST when Lelouch and C.C. kissed is banger. |
