| School life doesn't seem too out of the ordinary although we do get some magical action this time around. It's hard to tell who the strongest among the main cast is but Abramelin seems to have a cool head among the group along with her talent. Hopefully the show takes more time to develop these characters tbh. |

| Another good episode. I think this was more interesting than the first one, because so many different things happened this time. That black cat with the wizard hat is adorable. ^^ The Headmaster Solow's office looks very beautiful. I liked all those little details. That bug chase was pretty hilarious. Tori's nose is awesome. :D She can smell everything. Her "sniff sniffs" are so cute. I wonder what's with that mysterious guy who killed those soldiers? Well, let's wait for some answers. Well-deserved Victoria sandwiches for the girls after all the hard work. |

| The art was nice this ep and we had a tone shift halfway through. Honestly tho, the girls stuff is kinda boring but the tone change makes it very interesting to see whats going on. Also, MC got quite the sniffer on her face. |

| I wish they'd have shown the Unison Magic class, rather than skipping over it to focus on bugs. This anime reminds me of a series that was made based on a game for the sake of advertising the game and not for the sake of telling any sort of story -- God dammit, I Googled it and it is a mobile game. That makes so much more sense now. |

| I like Hammit and Solow. They’re both waifus haha. Perdura is very cute too, very Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the 90s one). These girls are all way too cute. They have a fun rapport with lots of cute banter. But then there’s a “warning” flashing across the screen and shit just gets real. One minute we see these adorable girls picking and eating wild strawberries and bring cute and shit, next minute we’re seeing dudes literally getting cut in half by some guy called Lucian Butzer. Wtf? Lol. And like right after that, the girls fight a “bug” that’s a cute heat fairy covered in soot. They clean up and then sit down for some tea and snacks. It’s all so cute it makes me think I hallucinated that last segment lol. What even is going on, man? |

People gonna call this boring but idc this is good eats. 20 mins of cute girls doing magical shit is just what I want. Another tonal shift mid episode this time. | Arsnotoria is slowly getting into the groove of her classes, and Hammit reminds me of the talking hat in Harry Potter, while Headmaster Solow keeps everything in check. The only (still) notable thing about Tori is her sniffing, for the girls are Pentagrams of flowers to check on bugs that attract unwanted attention to them, so they have to do the extermination every now and then. Finding one roaming around in this humongous school, the girls find themselves being helpless, that is until Tori deciphers the bug and finds it to be a fairy rather in need of a clean. That's one of many issues down, and the girls need more training along with thei supposed CGDCT downtime, that's for sure. Also, these warning signs which tell a darker story, as such with one they call the "White Flash" Lucian Butzer, kinda wondering what his character will bring into this game adaptation. For now, nothing is really happening. It's boring... |

Maybe they've decided to do it this way because you can choose a gender. |

| Meh. While I like the slow pace of the girls portions, the whole teasing "le edgy ongoing background story" is going to get old fast. Hope we get something interesting next episode otherwise I'll drop it. Otherwise, I do like the character designs and the ED. |

| getting better. If this is an rpg game, the girls are all extremely low level beginners. While those scary guys at the op theme are all max levelled. LOL it's a bit of a surprise the girls have to manually put on their costumes. I guess no magical girl transformation.. automatic putting on clothes here. the song at the OP is starting to get addicting for me. Watched this episode at least three times today. Sign that I might be buying something later if things stay the same. looking forward to next week! :) |
| This Show is absolute WEAPONIZED MOE at a level I've never seen before...It's like with each and EVERY scene is made to be as moe as could POSSIBLY BE! The animation is freaking gorgeous; LIDENFILMS always knocks it out of the park! Mell is definitely my favorite so far. She hits all the marks... ☑ - Green Hair ☑ - Tomboyish ☑ - Genki as fuuuuudge I dunno about the wrest of you, but I'm loving this, and can't wait for each Thursday! In episode 1 I thought they were like in the sky or something... cause the girls during Tea Party mentioned "going down to London" "requires Headmaster permission" But looks like they're literally in "another world", possibly inside books as you mentioned. Thing is... if the books in the real world gets destroyed, does that mean the Academy and the girls also die? (or maybe they can't destroy the books, but they can destroy the caretakers in the real world and slowly invade the book and destroy it from the inside) If it's this... does that also mean there are multiple Academies of books out there? are they able to communicate with each other with magic somehow? ___ ___ ___ And the MC be SNIFFING yet again... LOL Also, are they the only "students" in this Academy? Cause they haven't shown us any other students besides the 5. (even tho the Magic Cat mentioned the "bug" was scaring the "other students" |

| Ehh, it's basically more of what I got from the first episode. The only difference thing being that the only visually interesting shot was the one with the rope tightening against the wall during the green haired girl's descent. Last episode had a couple more. Just one more episode. |

| Ah yeah even the bug wasn't a real one but just a fairy, soot is causing even more problem than in Shadows House lol, what I mainly wonder is how these "older" fights scenes are related and if we'll get to see the girls in this kind of situation |
