I guess the Chunin Exams. They were definitely interesting and introduced a whole bunch of interesting characters.

Chunin exam arc was definitely the best arc in naruto. They introduced so many new characters and who doesnt like tournaments

Chunin Exams and Land of Waves are tied for me,

As a new weeb Land of Waves was amazing, seeing emotion in a show that I assumed was going to be purely gags was a pleasant surprise.

Chunin Exams is great for 1 reason, that being Rock Lee dropping his weights, a truly iconic scene that will go down in anime history.

I voted for the tsunade arc. I loved every moment of naruto and jiriya onscreen. We also see the 3 legendary sannin showoff. Naruto encounters his first and most persistent threat; that being the Akatsuki. Sasuke meets itachi again since childhood, gets his butt kicked. idk, it was a bamger of an arc. Many many memorable moments in this bit of Naruto.

Sasuke retrieval. It may not feature my favourite character but this arc was fantastic. What a way to end part 1. That final fight - to this day - is still my favourite fight in anime and among my favourites in fiction.

This one is tough, I enjoyed all of them except search for Tsunade pretty equally. They all had their ups and downs for sure but I’d have to say the Konoha Crush arc is my favorite. The combination of Orechmarus attack on the leaf and Naruto fighting Gaara made for an exciting arc.

The retrieval arc is amazing for how pivotal this moment is for the entire series. It’s that arc in a long running show that demonstrates the best quality a show can bring out.

However, with that said my favorite is the Chunin Exam arc. I love it for it not only introduces us to a large cast of colorful characters, but it builds and builds so much more of how this world works. Where the land of waves arc is fantastic and massively underrated for how it shows us what life is truly like as a ninja, how missions work, and life outside another nation and all the cruelties and politics that brings, the Chunin exams shows us how nations can interact further and that ninja from other nations can exist within another nation that has a ninja government themselves. It also throws at us a load of crazy twists and intrigues over the course of the exams and even has a cool, creative tournament arc (albeit with an end I didn’t think was the most satisfactory for anyone looking for something more “traditional” at the end of it) and there’s rarely a dull moment throughout.

I believe to most people, this is the arc they know best and happens to be the most consistently appealing to those outside the fan base. I know of some people who watched Naruto but consider this arc the peak. I’m almost inclined to agree. Nevertheless, easily my favorite arc and the arc I can negatively pick apart the least.

I really enjoyed the chunin exam's and how Naruto was able to flatten Neji's chin and how Sasuke had a very good entrance and how they intoduced Gaara
